At first we loved these runners. Looked great. Very thick. First off - we ordered 2 and one of them is about 1.5 inches wider than the other. While size of rugs will vary -- that is too much given the 2'3" width. Turns out that was the least of our problems. It sheds -- I don't mean a little -- I MEAN MAJOR SHEDDING PROBLEM. I am convinced it you vacuum them long enough the entire carpet will disappear. We vacuum and 3 days later there are huge dust balls all over the hall. You can see them sitting on the surface of the rug and all around the edges. Worst of all these are in a hall that has carpeted stairs in a deep burgandy. We noticed that the first 3-4 steps of our burgandy carpet are almost always white -- solely from the white fuzz off these carpets. A good thorough vacuuming lasts 3 days at most before the hall is full of fiber balls from the carpet. Today a I cleaned them and I filled 2 grocery sacks full of wet fuzz. Seriously - I don't know how there is any carpet left. After cleaning I took my finger and rubbed a little square -- still endless fuzz. Shortly, we will junk these and go to and buy some quality runners. You get what you pay for -- and in this case - that is a cheap, poorly made, Chinese product.

• How accurate was the on site description of the product? pretty accurated -- the leave out of this rug and most of the others COUNTRY OF ORIGIN - IT IS CHINA -- AND IT IS THE TYPICAL CHEAP "MADE IN CHINA" PRODUCT

Nice runner. Soft and plush. It has an ivory background, not gold as depicted. I would recommend this for a neutral choice. The length and width were perfect for my setting. The price was very reasonable compared to similar sized products in stores. This neutral color, however, was impossible to find in a store near me.

Great looking rug and well worth the money. I am very pleased with the deep pile and excellent workmanship. Like previously noted, the color is definately not gold (yellow) . Mine was closer to a very light beige or as some have said an ivory. But after reading the reviews before ordering, the color was just what I expected.

I would recommend this runner to anyone. But as in the other review the yellow is absolutely ivory. It worked perfectly for me as I had two other rugs with an ivory background that I got at Overstock.

This is a very good quality rug. It is thick, plush, dense and very nicely crafted. Beware of the colors in the picture - if you know what *ivory* looks like then you need to subsitute the yellowish color in the picture for that.

Well, not exactly a welcome mat...but the entryway hall rug that my guests are greeted with. It is absolutely beautiful there. It stays in place nicely with the pad I purchased from you, vacuums easily, and continues to give elegance to my home. It perfectly matches the livingroom rug I had purchased earlier from Overstock.com. I had been leery about the light color because I have grandchildren visiting often. However, I have no need for concern. It just keeps looking lovely.

Beautiful runner. Bright colors, thick, comfortable to walk on, true to size. I had read the other reviews, so had to try this rug, and I am extremely pleased. Exceeded my expectations for this rug. The contents are listed on the web site as wool and silk, and the manufacturer's tag reads "100% wool and silk", so I don't know the percentages of each. Highly recommended.

This was an excellent purchase. The rug is as described and is a great addition to the foyer. We've received a lot of positive comments from friends, and we have also received good feedback from the dog who loves the thick, yet soft wool/silk blend! The quality is remarkable for the price.

These hand tufted carpet runners are of amazing quality. You could NEVER find this level of quality for this price in a store. They are so thick and soft to the touch. They are extremely heavy and not at all flimsy like machine made rugs. We highly recommend them.

My son chose this rug for his new house after we exchanged a couple of emails (he lives 2 1/2 hours from us). I had the rug delivered to my house just to be sure the quality was acceptable (and to avoid giving him the hassle of the return). Not only was it acceptable, but it is beautiful. Great quality. Next time I will know to have it mailed directly to him. We have had such good experience with the quality of these rugs that my daughter has now bought one for her dorm room at college.

The colors and quality of workmanship of this rug are beautiful! I bought the 8' and 4' round and the 4 x 6 matching for my house. The colors are warm and the borders are straight.

Way more beautiful than I expected. You can't find this quality for this price in a store.
