My mom chose this rug in the 9'6"X13'6" size for her lovely dining room that has built in china closets and wood beams in the ceiling. The rug makes the room look even more elegant. The size, color and design are regal. The feel under foot is luxurious. The rug is still shedding, but it's so thick that that was expected. I'm looking for my next rug on overstock, too.

After literally years of searching for just the right rug for our dining room and after our son recommended Overstock.com, we found this absolutely beautiful rug. It is so dense, perfect pattern and unbelievably beautiful. I was reluctant to purchase this online but so happy that we did. The pattern is even more beautiful than it appears online. I received this rug within days. It sheds very little. Its colors are vibrant and the weave is so thick it feels as though you are walking on a firm pillow. Very good buy for the price.

This is probably the best purchase I have ever made on Overstock. This rug is absolutely beautiful, and made very well. It doesn't list how many knots per square inch, but I would guess 125-135. The rug is HEAVY! The weight is over 100 lbs. It is almost impossible to maneuver alone, especially when trying to move it on top of the rug pad I bought to go under it.I was concerned about buying a rug and trusting the colors shown on the monitor, but all the other reviews were very helpful and correct in their color descriptions. The black is true black, and the burgundy is dark and rich.If it helps, the narrow color at the edge is black, then the next band is rust, (which isn't shown in the picture), next is sage, then burgundy, sage, rust, then the black center.The rug has a tag on it the says it is A Safavieh, Traditions Collection, Design TD602C. 100% Wool, with silk.You can't go wrong with the purchase, and the price is amazing for the quality.

We looked at many area rugs and brought several into our family room to try out. We decided to give Overstock a try because truthfully - we didn't want to spend the $3000 the stores where asking for a quality rug of this size. We could not be happier. Yes there is some initial shedding. But the colors are vibrant, the rug is thick and quality above what we had hoped. Excellent Value. We bought the matching oval we where so thrilled. Delivery time - 3 days!

I bought the 9 x 13 version of the rug along with the runner. They are absolutely beautful and added such a dramatic difference to my foyer and family room. The rug will shed a bit in the first few weeks but that is to be expected from any wool rug. This rug is very plush. I have it on hardwood floors and don't need a cushion underneath it at all. I am using a combination of tan leather and burgundy leather furniture,,,,,truly stunning.

I had already purchased a rug from a big department store for $1500. I saw this one an quickly cancled it and bought this one. I was not dissapointed it is so much nucer than the one I was going to and it was alot cheaper to boot. Could have used a tad more silk, but I was not expecting it to have more eaither, otherwise it is a great carpet with great color. I was afriad that it might be to dark but it is great

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTILFUL RUG. THE BURGUNDY IS VERY NICE AROUND THE BORDER. SHOWS BETTER WHEN YOU GET THAN IN THE PICTURE. ITS A NICE DEEP WINE COLOR. RECEIVE LOTS OF COMPLIMENTS.

The picture was a good representation of the actual rug; rich colors. The quality is excellent with minimal shedding.

This rug is perfect. We are working with a designer in our great room and she quoted a similar rug at $4,000. I went on overstock and found this one for under $1,000. It sheds quite a bit at first, so you need to vacuum a lot the first few weeks, but the rug is absolutely beautiful. Strongly recommend.

This rug is amazing. It is heavy and dense with great edging and backing. The silk makes the colors beautiful--but certainly NOT busy or overbearing. The black is really black, not gray-black like you get with pure wool or washed rugs. The pattern on the one I got was not the same and the web photo. Mine has two double-outline borders on either side of the burgundy border. These outlines are light olive green (very nice color) and dark coral (also very nice). I was thrilled with this addition since one of my accent colors is coral. I originally bought this rug for my formal dining room, but after seeing it, I have ordered another and I am putting them both in my oversized formal living room. I also ordered a round one for the foyer which is right off of the living room. You cannot go wrong with these rugs. You will love them. I don't think I will ever buy a wook rug that doesn't have silk blend again. This is just too gorgeous.

Great carpet! Very plush and looks beautiful in my home with my brown leather furniture. Feels so good to walk on and the grandkids seem to love playing on it.

This rug is thick and rich. Very soft to walk on. It does shed some, but that inspires me to vaccuum! Be sure to measure. This rug is huge! Also pattern is somewhat busy, so make sure it doesn't clash with other furniture patterns.

Just received my rug. It is beautiful and very plush and thick. The price is amazing! The light colors around the border and around the flowers are a very pale green. My monitor makes it look like it is a light taupe/brown color. It doesn't have very much silk in it. The silk that is in it is stark white and is in the center of about every other flower. The center of the rug has large flowers and the vines are that light pale green. The main colors you see when you look across the room are are deep burgundy (warm burgundy color) around border, black in the middle and pale green on the vines, flowers and inner border.

I purchased this rug in the 8X11, also, and I couldn't be more pleased. Beautiful. Exceptional value.

The carpet is very thick and dense -- it feels very luxurious. The colors are muted. The "olive" is actually a couple of shades, sage to olive. There is a shade which is in the salmon or terracotta range, also quite muted. I don't see much gold. It fits well in my Craftsman-style house. Overall, I am quite pleased.

I have bought rugs from design centers and stores, spending $4,000 on the last rug and decided to save time (&money) by trying online. I am floored by the quality and price. The pile is thick and tightly woven with silken accents. I don't believe there is real silk but the overall effect is still beautiful. The rug differs slightly from picture (with a wide border of burgundy) making it more beautiful. The price and quality is second to none.
