great colors--vibrant. the red is more of a maroon but with the small amount of orange and spalshes of red next to other colors it still looks great with my red walls. my dog loves sleeping on it as well. overall, super purchase!

Purchased this rug for the dinning room area which required a larger size rug.. this rug fit the bill and it is a "wow" rug. The colors were very true in the photos and would highly recommend this rug - it arrived quickly, very well packaged and rolled out smoothly on the floor.

Was very nervous ordering a rug online, but it was a great price and was positively reviewed, so we went for it. The rug came in 2 days and was perfect! Exactly what we were looking for. It had a little more sage and less gold than the picture looked like, but neither color is overwhelming. A previous reviewer broke down the color by border and it's exactly as they described. Pleased with the thickness and haven't noticed too much shedding. Would definitely recommend this rug to others!

I read just about every review on most 8' round rugs on your web site before making my decision to purchase this rug. The reviews stated that it came in much darker than the picture on the web site and I am so happy it did because I wanted it darker and that's what I got. The quality is wonderful and it looks great with my black dinette set. I also order a pad to go underneath it and now I wish I had waited to see if I really needed it because I don't. Now I'm stuck with an 8 X 12 pad that I can't use

As far as Overstock goes, I'd like to say the shipping was very fast and rug arrived well packed.The rug is very well made. Nice and plush. It is a Safavieh rug.I'm NOT very pleased with the color representation and description. The rug appears more muted online with different color tones. It would be very helpful if Overstock and the reviewers would list all colors. Reviews saying the rug is "pretty" does not help other people decide if the colors will work for their home.Here's the colors as I see them:The gold isn't a true gold but more of a mustard yellow. The green earlier today I swear was sage but looking this evening it does look olive but light! I think it would work with either. My walls are olive and it looks good.The outside edge is black.1st boarder - light olive, ivory, rosey clay color, mid range blue (not as dark as navy), a brown that's the color of coffee when you add milk.2nd boarder - My accent color in the room is berry red. This color is deeper but can pass for a crimson red and works with the red in my room. Burgundy is deep and rich, same colors I just listed in the first boarder plus a little crisp white, and a rusty salmon/peach color. 3rd boarder - same as 1st boarder. 4th boarder - On my monitor I thought this color was a different shade of red. It's actually the rusty salmon/peach. Also has the same colors of the first boarder. Middle - The black is a nice deep black. Has all those colors in the middle.Keep in mind if you buy this rug that rusty salmon/peach color is pretty noticeable. Luckily my main red fabric in the room has that same color!I do wish it had gold and more of it.The rug did have a smell when we opened it. It's the next day and it's gone. Probably was from the packaging.I haven't noticed any shedding so far.Overall the rug works for my room and IS very pretty. Looks and is of good quality. Great price. I will buy from Overstock again. I hope my review can help someone make that decision!

I bought the 6' round rug. It arrived very well wrapped. I put it underneath my dining table (which is round) and it instantly add classy look to the room. The colors are beautiful and it is very well made. No wonder -- because it's a Safavieh rug! I highly recommend this rug to anyone looking to add a little color and warmth to any room in their house!

This is soooooooo pretty. The pattern is lovely and the wool/silk blend feels VERY nice on bare feet! This as well as a matching rectangular rug are in my kitchen and really makes it pretty!

Exceptional quality, beautiful colors. The white threads are very white and looks great with the white crown molding in the room. The rug pad gives it even more cushiness underfoot. Very pleased with this wonderful rug.

I didn't set my expectations high since I wasn't paying a high price so when the rug arrived and I put it under my table, I was very impressed! It looks like I paid alot more for it than I did. I would strongly recommend this rug to a friend. The only down side is the dark color is harder to keep clean from lint and pet hair but I prefer darker colors. It's definately worth the extra work of keeping clean!

Previously ordered a very large rectangular rug of the same pattern for our livingroom. I am very pleased with the quality of that rug, the color and the price! I was looking specifically for an 8' round rug to coordinate with that previously purchased rug and I was delighted when I found this one to be available. The colors are subtle and beautiful and the rug measures at exactly 8'. These rugs are thicker than I thought they would be, but that really doesn't matter much to me. The rugs do tend to shed a bit, but that is a minor inconvenience. I love the classic style and warmth these rugs offer. Couldn't find a better deal anywhere!

We've purchased a number of rugs from overstock. Many of them are tremendous values for the money, but this one was apparently partially machine made, and just didn't look as nice or well made as the others.

This rug is made well and is very plush/thick. The colors are as well defined as what you see online or better. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend that you get one of the pads to go under the rug. to help keep it in great shape. Everyone that sees it comments on how beautiful it is and cannot believe what I paid. This was a great purchase!

I love my rug. It is gorgeous. I ordered it for my elementary school library, for the read-aloud area, and the kids love it too. It lends a very cozy and homey look. The only problem is that it sheds like crazy, but I've been told by several people that this is normal with a new wool rug. It has to be vacuumed daily. Perhaps in a home setting the rug would not shed as much. It gets very heavy use in the library, where classes of children sit on it every period. I also purchased a rug mat from Overstock.com to keep it in place.

It is beautiful! It has change my dreary diningroom into a formal setting. I have a very nice dining table that was just wahed out by the rest of the room. The rug has such a rich, warm elegent feel to it. Very nice.
