I was a bit disappointed because the rug was described as having a red backgroud. The background is more purple than red but I made it work. If you're looking for a true red, don't buy this rug. It has been shedding for a while, another bothersome issue.

My only disappointment was I didn't get the next size larger! This rug looks as if I styled my room around the carpet - completely brings together my dark brown leather furniture, oak wood floors, and sage/olive walls. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!

I had several carpets in my home before I found this one on Overstock. Their wool was course with thick strands, where this one has finer wool, but a whole lot more of them making a denser carpet top. The colors are exactly what I needed for my dining chair seats, drapes, and tablecloth. I couldn't have found a better match, and NEVER at the price of Overstock! Yahoo, thanks again for coming through Overstock.com!
