Handmade Heritage Kermansha Blue/ Beige Wool Rug (2' x 3')

Once you get past the quality or texture of a rug, colors become the main thing. If the colors were right, this rug would be a five star rug, so I wasn't sure how to rate it. I went from another reviewer who described the rug as light aqua, ivory, and beige and now I'm wondering if there are several color versions of this rug going out. My rug is a dark teal color, with beige and brown! There's no ivory in the rug I received. Its dull and somewhat dark. It would be good with antique or rustic styling. A very well made rug. And just to pass along a great idea I picked up in other reviews, I bought this as a sample for a larger rug to check colors.

I like this rug, but I couldn't believe when it arrived that it was the same one I'd ordered. On my monitor it appears a rich teal blue, gold, and rust. In reality it is a light aqua, beige, and ivory. Just BELIEVE the reviews that describe the colors in this way - I took them with a grain of salt and was surprised as a result. Otherwise, it's pretty nice - thick with an interesting pattern (which also looks different from the picture because the colors are so different).

I have been laboring over the purchase of a large rug for our bedroom for months and kept coming back to Overstock. I finally purchased this rug after reading the reviews and expected a nice rug but received a fantastic rug. It is thick, expensive looking and in my particular case the colors are true to the picture. The blue is not in the sky blue family but more of a deeper teal. I noted other comments that customers who bought the rug received rugs with more subtle colors than they expected. I think it all depends on your monitor. Vibrant or subtle would make no difference to me due to the exceptional quality of this rug but I received exactly the colors pictured. This is my second large rug purchase from Overstock and won't be my last.

I'm so glad I followed lots of advice I saw on Overstock.com and ordered the rug in a small size hoping it would be a good color combo for my den, if so, I would order it in a larger size. I love the thickness and vibrant colors, and wish my decorating scheme included that color, but its too bright a tourqoiuse blue for my room. I am looking for something in an ice blue shade, so I'm returning this rug. Peacock and tourquise are popular shades in the catelogs, so this rug should be just right in someone else's home.
