How exciting to receive a product that is exactly as it appears in the photos. The colors are muted but clear, the rug is thick wool and expertly made and bound. Overall, I'm very pleased with the rug. It is extremely soft and has nice deep pile - great under foot. It appears to be very well made, although I've only had it in place for two weeks. However, the colors are extremely muted, running to deep browns, tans, etc. No golds or burgundy that I can discern. Was hoping for something with a bit more punch.

This rug is great for my purpose. I just wanted a shot of muted color and this rug delivers. There is not as much yellow as indicated in photo and this good. Good-not great construction but for fifty some bucks it's a great deal.

I've purchased other wool rugs--never had the shedding as I have had with this brand/pattern. After 2 yrs still cushy just requires much vacuuming.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Excessive shedding of wool and some powdery substance. After 2 years the wool shedding has subsided but not the powdery substance.

The colors were dull, but after having it professionally cleaned, the colors sing. They are still muted, but not dull. Also a good idea to have cleaned, to eliminate and moths or moth eggs.

I really like this rug; it is thick and well made. And, the thickness turned out to be a problem in my entryway as I cannot open the front door without moving the rug. Just something to consider as you plan your purchase. Also, the colors are not as bright as pictured.

The colors are rich and true. Obviously hand made. Thick pile.4 stars because it had an awful musty/moldy odor that took several days to dispell after i took it out of the bag. Rug was double wrapped in heavy plastic and burlap/paper would have let it breathe.We were having a lengthy rainy spell when I received it or I would have put it outdoors in the fresh air.The odor finally disappeared after I sprinkled the rug with baking soda and vacuumed it.Now that it smells OK, it looks great too.

This is a beautiful & well made rug. I did feel the colors were not as bold as in the photo a little drab. But still very nice.

We purchased the 3x5 and the 4x5 for our bathroom and they are gorgeous. Thick, rich colors, great value for the price... and came within a week of ordering.

The colour of this rug is a very unappealing and drab brown. It is not at all as it is described. I gave it away it was so ugly.
