I was somewhat skeptical ordering a large rug sight-unseen on-line. However, I was not disappointed! This rug is beautiful - the colors are vibrant and look as pictured on the site. It does not appear to be shedding much, which has been consistently mentioned with all wool rugs I am very pleased with my purchase and love the way the rug pulls our family room together - the room has become a very warm and cozy place! Also shipping was very fast - I ordered at 10:30 pm on a Friday - the rug arrived Tuesday! I have been searching for the perfect rug for a long time - this by far is the highest quality rug for the money that I have seen. I need several smaller additional rugs - you can bet that I'll be shopping Overstock again!

This rug is thick and beautiful. We have enjoyed it so far, even though it is still shedding like crazy! My only disappointment was that the colors didn't seem as bright as they did on the stock photo. I thought they were a little richer and more earthy (the reds and browns and golds are much more dominant than the greens and blues). I have nothing to complain about the quality, though.

Very pleased with carpet. Delivered on time. Wrapped in plastic.

Excellent is the reveiw! I bought these rugs in a variety of sizes (I have 2,000 sq feet of hardwood floors) and the rugs are beautiful, thick and seem to be great quality. I'm super pleased so far! I also recommend the "deluxe hard surface and carpet rug pad", they work great with these rugs.

Beautiful rug- only complain is wool shedding which supposedly gets better as the product ages and gets vacuumed.

Love the rug!! Colors match the other colors in the room perfectly. I was hesitant to purchase on line but am so glad I did. I seems to tie the whole room together. Service was extra fast and arrived in time to put it on the floor before Thanksgiving.

I love this rug despite the fact that it sheds like a 100 lb dog! It looks so good in my dining room and it feels so good underfoot. I've filled up 2 vacuum cleaner bags and the shedding shows no sign of slowing down. It also took a few days to finish "off gassing". It smelled like chemicals but I opened up some windows and after about a week the smell was gone. I also sprayed it with Febreze for carpets at one point. Maybe that helped. This is my first wool rug so I don't know whether these are normal or not. But it's soft and beautiful. Just have to vacuum more frequently. Makes me wish I had a Roomba.

The rug itself is thick and feels wonderful when walked on. In addition, we purchased the pad, which not only helps with the thickness, but also keeps it from "walking", a problem we had with previous area rugs. We are very happy with the colors and quality. We noticed in some previous reviews an odor associated with the pad was mentioned. We did not experience this, and the pad arrived several days before the rug and we let it relax on the floor before placing the rug over it. The only downgrade we would give would be to Overstock rather than the rug, as the price dropped before we even got our shipment and we weren't aware we only had 5 days to contact them.

I amusing this rug for my business office in the conference room. It was darker than I expected but still presents itself well.

I ordered this rug and it was delivered quickly within a few days. Initially, the rug that was sent to me was the incorrect size. I called customer service late that night (they were open) and informed them of the mistake. The customer service was the best I have received from anyone in years!! The rug was picked up at my house the next day (at no expense or trouble to me), and the correct size rug was delivered to my home in a couple days. The rug is vibrant, rich in color, and plush. I could not be happier. I will never hesitate doing business with Overstock.com!!

Wow..... is all I can say! It is beautiful and the color are not muted like some of the reviews said. I am so glad I purchased this rug!!!

I suppose the colors DO look similar to the website but the overall effect in real life is quite a bit different. Keep in mind that on your floor, the colors are not back-lit as on a computer screen! Thus, online the lighter colors stand out more and the overall effect is lighter/brighter. In person, the overall effect is very dark and heavy on rusty-red (not merlot), gold tones and the black border. The black border is especially prominent on a light colored floor, of course, given the contrast. I was unpleasantly surprised when I unrolled it at first. It IS a nice carpet and I am starting to get used to it but the overall effect of the colors is not what I was expecting and was a disappointment. I could recommend the quality of the rug but would warn others as to this risk of buying online!

This is a great deal. I had priced this rug in stores and it started at 1200.00 easily. I got the rug in two days and it looks great. The colors, quality and details are the best I have seen in a rug. I have received so many compliments and I love it. The colors will go with any decor. I would recommend this rug to anyone. i received the rug 2 days after it was ordered. the rug looks even better than the picture on line. it is exactly what i wanted. it is shedding some, but i expected that. i would recommend this to anyone who wants quality and good looks without the big price tag

I purchased this rug for my dining room. I have received many compliments and it blends very well with the Persian carpets I have in the other areas of my home. It looks far more expensive than it actually was. I am very pleased.
