Very good purchase
The red was a little more rusty than the picture, but other reviews had warned of this. Actually we wanted a rusty red rather than a burgundy one. The rug looks great in the family room and is very warm and rich in color. It goes perfectly with the couch, pillows and wall color - a sage green. Overall it is a nice wool rug for a great price.

Gorgeous
This rug is gorgeous. The color is a vivid red. I wish I had more rooms to order this same carpet. I have it in a Victorian home, that has a sage green flocked medallion wallpaper. Gorgeous. It exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this rug.

Really nice rug. Priced the sme size rug at local stores, this is a way better deal. Prepare to go through a few vacuum cleaner bags for the sheading...still a great rug.

I have never had a wool rug before so am not sure what is normal. This rug is pretty firm to walk on and holds up well as far as footprints and tracks. It really sheds fibers for at least the few weeks I have had it down. The color is definately a cinnamon red which worked out perfectly for my curtains but no blue at all and the green is not any kind of sage I have ever seen! I was a little disappointed when I unrolled the rug in the room but the longer it is down the more I like it. Especially how it vacumns up so nicely.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The rug is more cinnabar than red and there is no blue in it at all. Also a strange ecru color in the flowers.

Good, but
Rug was soft and decent for the price paid, however, we did not like the color in our room. Had the color been right, we would have kept it. As someone else said, the color is more "rust" or even orangy, and the green and tan and taupe mixed in gave it some appeal. However, I didn't expect it to be so orange that my holiday tableware would clash with it. Too bad. We are going to get something that works better for us in all seasons.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. QUality was decent for the price, but the rug smelled of rubber cement-like smell that might dissipate over time.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Mostly right, but there was no navy blue as indicated.
