Beautiful, luxurious rug
This is a beautiful rug with a very thick nap, giving it a luxurious feel. The colors are more muted than what appeared on my computer screen, but still worked very well with my décor. Think tan and grey rather than gold and blue, with a few nice pops of ruby red. Ive only noticed a small amount of shedding, which I would expect with any new rug. Dont let the price fool you this is a very good quality rug!

not what I expected
Don't get me wrong this rug is thick and substantial, but I expected a real handmade look to it with detail in the stitching and design. I guess I expected something along the lines of the rugs I bought in Morocco a few years ago, but this rug didn't have the patterns clearly defined like I expected. But for the money it is a great value--I was probably expecting the impossible, and it is difficult to tell from a picture what a rug is really like. You just should know that no matter how the picture looks, this is not an heirloom quality rug. Overstock was quick to deliver like usual, and everything was intact. Next time I'll probably spend more on a rug for the living room.

We have been very pleased with our rug since receiving the one ordered. The first delivery was not the item ordered, but overstock shipped us the correct one even before receiving back the wrong one. There was little "new" odor noticed. The colors were very close to those pictured--muted, but distinct. The pile is thick & has shed a moderate amount. We are pleased with the pricing and quality & would recommend it to others.

The only reason I gave it a 4 star is that the product had a strong oder to it when I unwrapped. So much so that I had to put it outside to air out. It is ok now after air out and some carpet cleaner.

Handmade Heirloom Rug
This rug pile sheds a lot. The boarders are uneven in size. Some thick, some thin. I was happier with the 8 x 10 rug of the same make and style. Seemed like over better quality. The color is beautiful. Overall very happy with the rug. I wish it would not shed so much. I have to vacuum very day!

Beautiful Rug
This is a very nice rug. Color was accurate, very thick and seems to be durable. Because it is wool, you will be vacuuming quite a bit the first few weeks. Glad I bought it!

Quality is fine, color way off!
I should not say that I was disappointed since I shop online enough to know the risk - the product may not look identical as appeared on the website. After reading through reviews other consumers posted, I decided to take a chance. The rug is nice and thick and great on the cold tile floor in the kitchen, just wish the color were a tad more vivid, closer to what had appeared on the screen to give it more details, instead of being so muted. Delivery is pronto, no complain here.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Instead of deep slate blue & ivory, the actual prodcut is grey and tan, wish it were as vivid as described.
