Handmade Elite Contemporary Wool Rug (8' x11')

COLORS: Look at your monitor for additional colors, the description is not complete. Colors also include light yellow, cream, black, cherry/maroon. The gray is warm and the color variety ensures that the rug will go with a variety of color schemes. DESIGN: As pictured: Good movement without being distracting or overbearing. QUALITY: This is why I gave the rug 3 stars. It is soft and thick, however I went through three full vaccuum bags in the first week collecting wool fuzzies. The worst part, however, was the fact that actual fibers of the rug were loose and were pulled out as well- literally hundreds. I don't know if the backing material is old and allowed these to become loose or if this is something to expect out of handmade rugs from India. My only other wool rug does not lose fibers, so I was surprised that this one did. I was concerned that parts of the rug would become bare, but I have had it for a month now and I believe that I have vaccuumed up most of the loose fibers and the shedding has become less. SHIPPING: very quick. the rug smelled like a wet sheep but vaccuuming and spraying it took care of that. OVERALL: Very beautiful , contemporary, and versatile, looks and feels like high quality but the losing of the rug fibers jtells me that it is not the highest quality. I will keep it.
