Good value for the price, colors not as they seem
This rug is another great purchase from Overstock...the quality is exactly what I was expecting for the price, but the colors are definitely off compared to the picture shown. The field is more of a brown (picture chocolate milk) rather than gold. The blue is a beautiful color, but not aqua. This is not an heirloom quality rug, but does the job I picked it for...bringing color into the sitting area of my bedroom.

Definitely Chocolate Milk
The accent colors are bolder than expected, in constrast to the main "chocolate milk brown," but I really like it. It's exactly the splash of color I needed for my room. There's a little gold, the border is med. cornflower blue. There's some dark brown, rust, a deep teale blue,even dk. olvie green. As for shedding, after two weeks, I don't find it too bad. It may depend on how much traffic it gets and whether you are walking on it with socks/slippers which I think tend to cause more shedding-- like you're wearing a lint brush on your feet. The best part is, it's a nice, heavy rug but it's soft-- not that scratchy wool that a lot of better quality wool rugs come in. I like it. My hubby likes it. That says a lot!
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? As others have said, the rug appeared gold in color, on my screen. Fortunately, I went by the reviewer who said, "think chocolate milk" and he/she was exactly right.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. IThe quality is quite good a lot better than the rugs I've seen at outlets and some home goods speciality stores
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? --Other than the color, which is difficult to portray given screen difference, the rug is as promised.

Great rug
I read countless reviews and was very indecisive about which rug to pick. This isn't an uncommon compliant, the color is not what is represented in the picture. Not gold at all really more like a gray/brown. Nice accents of blue and reds. The rug is good quality something you might find at ***, good price. I will most likely keep it.

Disappointed
Don't buy this rug. Its not gold, its a murky brown and the border isn't this light greenish color, its blue. Not that blue is bad, I love blue and brown together but this rug is completely different than the picture. For the quality, its horrendous!! I should have sent it back. Its shedding all over my front hall....you could vacuum it all day and it would still continue to spew fiber bunnies everytime you walk past it. It looks OLD, like its been stored for years in the warehouse! The texture of the rug looks like its been wet and dried out. Extremely fuzzy and no clear definition in pattern. You could use this in a lake house or cabin (or maybe your garage!) but that's about it. I really should have sent it back, I feel like I was completely ripped off for the money. Again, do NOT buy this rug, you will be immensely disappointed.

I really like the rug, except it seems to shed an awful lot and the colors looked brighter in the picture, but overall a nice purchase.

Nice Rug
The rug is more brown than yellow - bolder colors than what was on my screen, but it looks great in my office. Good thickness and feel when barefoot.Good buy!
