When I first got the rug the colors weren't exactly what I expected, but I unfurled it and let it sit in the living room for a bit. The backing is great - you can use it on your wooden floors without a pad and it's not going to scratch the floor. It is also very plush and cooshy. The quality is much better than expected and the colors have grown on me. considering buying the area rug to accompany it. The predominant color is a maroon red, but it really has just about any color you could think of in it and so could accent almost any decor. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

This is exactly what we were looking for in our hallway. The rug is nicely made and the colors are very pretty. I was pleased because I thought the rug was much nicer in person than the pictures showed.

I can remember when I use to see these commercials on TV about some place online called "O" Overstock. It took me to long to actually go check it out. Since then I have fallen in love with the site, the ease of use, the amazing delivery price not to mention the actual delivery. I have yet to purchase an item that I have not been 100% happy with. The best item I have purchased as of yet, it this rug. It is truly a beautiful rug, not some cheap rug, but what I can a true genuine rug that make friends and family say, wow, where did you find this rug? I've had this runner and two large area rugs of the same design for over three years. The colors are beautiful, somewhat muted. The rug stands up to use, pets, cleanings, etc. like a champ. Yes, there was significant shedding for the first 3-4 vacuumings, but after that, it's not noticeable. The rug is warm and lies flat, unlike the fringed runner I'm replacing this one with.

Very pretty rug and well made but light areas in the picture are much darker than I expected and really wanted for the area I placed in in. Also, it smells horriible, very chemically smelling. I'm going to keep the rug because it's pretty and well made but even after spraying it with heavy duty Febreeze after I opened the package, I can still smell the chemical smell.. I just received the rugs today (bought 2) so I'm hoping the smell will wear off as quickly as another reviewer said it did. Fingers crossed.

The rug is great but more muted in coloring than the picture shows. I have it in my kitchen in front of the sink and stove top and it is great. Very cushiony and well made.

I have this same rug/pattern in a large oval shape in my dinning room and love it. I bought the runner for another room and it looks great. The quality is excellent. The colors are very nice...mellow...not too bright.

This is a great runner, and a perfect complement to the larger room size Bakhtieri I purchased a couple years ago. As a testament to that rug, a match for the runner, the colors have not faded despite being in a very sunny room for 2 years. The runner does not need a pad under it because it is so heavy, and it stays in place without sliding under foot. I think the displayed colors are quite true to the actual rug colors. The border is a rich burgundy, and the center block colors include a muted gold, muted sage green. the other colors match the tone of these as well. The colors are rich, the wool pile dense, it feels fabulous underfoot, and I am very pleased with both purchases. The overall packaging was very well done, having an inner wrapping around the rug, and then again encased in another wrap. The rug was delivered during a wet snowstorm and the rug was perfectly dry after being out in the weather for several hours before I could bring it inside. Overall, the quality of rug, trueness to description, price, protective wrappings, quick delivery... all speak to the reasons I continue to look ofr planned purchases here at Overstocks first.

Absolutely love this runner, came in two days, hasn't shed at all, not sure what people are talking about. Fits beautifully in our hallway over PERGO floors and no underpad necessary.

What a beautiful rug. The colors and pattern are both beautiful and interesting at the same time. The pile is thick and looks expensive and classy. I am delighted with this buy.

We just built and moved into a new home and the floors are all cherry hardwood. I bought this rug for the kitchen in front of the cooktop. It is absolutely beautiful and helps cushion my feet and legs when cooking. I also purchased a 2x4 companion rug for in front of the french door going out to the patio. They are very thick and rich looking. I get many compliments on these rugs. Highly recommend these rugs for your home. You will not be disappointed.

The rug arrived very quickly and in good condition. It is not a heavy rug, but it is well made and a decent weight. The rug is attractive and has the range of colors that I was looking for, but the overall appearance of the rug is much darker and duller in color than the image suggests, no lustrous sheet to this rug. It also has a strong chemical smell to it, like insecticide. I am airing it outside right now and hope that that will get rid of the odor. Despite my apparent faultfinding, I am quite happy with this rug.

Looks much like the picture. Colors are muted and go with several decor choices. A heavy rug that stays flat. I added a non-slip pad for over a wood floor. The rug does "shed" at first, but other hand-woven wool rugs I have did the same thing. This shedding goes away after a few weeks of wear and vacuuming.

This rug is thick, solid and lays really well. The design is muted & elegant. I was delighted when I opened the package and continue to be pleased every time I walk into the room.

I'm very pleased with this rug. It is my first order from Overstock. It came on time as they said and it looks beautiful in our new home in AZ. The colors are matching our furniture and it is nice wool and comfortable.
