beautiful rug!
i was very unsure about ordering a patterned rug online. i ready so many different reviews on this rug about color and shedding. the colors are not at all like pictured here. they are much softer and not nearly so green as photo. (look at photo of same rug but 8' round, much closer match to actual rug in that photo) rug colors very neutral w/shades of taupe, gold, dark ivory, cranberry and very subtle soft blue/grey/green that's not really noticeable unless you look closely. (the blue/grey/green accent may be more pronounced if in a room w/those shades present.) my room is all neutrals and rug goes beautifully. i think this rug would compliment many different decors/colors. as far as shedding, all my rugs are 100% wool and all have shed about the same amount which isn't so bothersome as some have stated. you will be cleaning up fuzz for awhile but in my opinion nothing major. it's a very thick, very heavy rug of good quality. absolutely no funny smell (or any smell that i noticed) if you're on the fence about this rug (like i was) take the plunge and order. you will not be disappointed. in my opinion, an absolutely beautiful, high quality rug that i would most definitely purchase again!

Dissapointed for the first time
Beautiful Rug, but color does not fit in my color scheme. A lot more blue is dominant. Color was more like the 6x6 Handmade Majestic picture...... I swear they switched the pictures with 'Handmade Majestic' and 'Handmade Ancestry'. My husband has already put the rug down, under our breakfast table and will be soooo not pleased if I have him move it from underneath the table, so I'm not sure what to do....it looks predominately bluish, not ivory/beige....posted pic to Chat on cust service

Really Nice
Just received the rug. I agree with the previous reviews - it is a very nice product - looks much more expensive. It is very thick and the colors blend together well. I also received it very fast! Very happy with purchase.

8' square wool rug
I am extremely pleased with my rug purchase. Have had the rug about a month and love everything about it. The color match is exactly what I was looking for., the same pale green as my couch. The rug thickness and quality are just as described. Absolutely nothing negative about this purchase. I was a little leery of ordering a rug but I couldn't be happier. I had been shopping for a rug for quite a while. It is hard to find 8 foot square rugs but I lucked out when I found this one.

Love this rug!
I was so afraid to purchase a rug on-line, from a photo. I am absolutely in love with this rug, the colors are lighter than the photo; but it is a beautiful, neutral rug, lots of beige and light grey/green. The rug is thick, soft and luxurious, I would have spent double at any retailer in town. So glad I purchased this rug, I will definitely buy more rugs from Overstock!

Great rug
The colors were much lighter than those shown in the picture, as mentioned by other reviews. There was also a chemical smell that took a few weeks to disappear, but it was never overwhelming. Not too much shedding noticed for a wool rug. The shipping was incredibly fast. I received it only 2 days after placing my order! Overall this is a really good product for the price. This is the second rug that I have purchased from Overstock, and I will probably do so again in the future.
