The Ancestry Rug is beautiful. The rug is thick , soft, and true to the color shown. We need another rug and I will definately be shopping for it from overstock. I couldn't believe the value for the price we paid.

The rug is thick and of nice quality. The design is as it appears on-line. The color of the rug on my monitor reflects a tan/gold overall coloration which is what I was looking for. The actual overall rug color is a pastel sage blue/gray/green. I would not have selected this rug had the background colors been more acurately reflected on my monitor. Beautiful rug - but buyers be aware of the potential color variance.

Wow! Viewed this online with only the image and ordered it solely on the reviews of others. It is perfect in my dining room and does not compete with my busy spanish tile floor. It definitely protects the dining room chairs. I would definitely purchase again from overstock.com.

This rug is lively but muted. The workmanship is excellent and it fits perfectly. The green is kind of a minty sage and blends with todays colors. There are shades of tan and taupe with a rusty cranberry , Ivory is a minor color in this rug. I always found it helpful when people described the colors because monitors are pretty inaccurate. It helps to zoom in to the picture because you can see the pattern and colors more closely & realistically.

I am really pleased with this rug. It looks great under my round dining room table. It does shed a lot however. I love the subtle colors and design. I would call the colors a light grey-sage and tan. No funky odor like some rugs I have ordered online have had.

I had been looking for foyer rug to for quite some time. After exhausting all possibilities locally -- buying and returning several rugs -- I decided to give this one (the tan ivory ancestry design) a try. I am so very glad I did!! As other reviewers described, the colors are more muted in person versus the screen. It is light tan/taupe with slight hint of light blue/sage around the border, with a sprinkling of gold, ivory and country red. The colors go perfectly in SEVERAL rooms in my house ~ so I ordered a few more rugs - most recently the 8 foot round for use on maple wood floors. I

I read some of the reviews on the rectangle rugs of this kind and was concerned about the fibers coming out and the shedding. But I only see slight shedding and I tried to pull on the individual pieces and they feel very secure. I really like the multiple shades of browns in the rug. It ties in the mahogany and the oak pieces as well as the laminate flooring. I was hoping for more of a crimson red than a brick red, but since it has multiple shades of red as well it still looks great with my red. At least it isn't marron. I especially like the rich light sage green throughout the rug. Excellent feel and tightly woven yarns. I was hoping for a rug that would compliment and pull together the room but not be a focal point. This rug is just what I wanted.

I am very pleased with my purchase. This rug was received in a timely fashion and was exactly as described and pictured on the website. I bought the 8' round rug. This rug is actually a name brand high quality product, very dense and a great feel underfoot. The picture is not really acurate. The rug is a very light sage green on the outer border as well as inside. The darker areas shown in the picture are tan. This works well in my room.
