My spouse and I have always purchased our rugs in person and after this experience we unfortunately will have to stick to that. We were excited about the look and price of this rug and the description telling of golds, reds and greens seemed to match the picture online. Unfortunately upon receiving it the "reveal" was very disappointing as we looked at each other and said "blue?!?!" I'm not saying this is a bad rug, simply be cautious that the inner rectangle is dominantly a darker brown and the outer rectangle is clearly blue. The colors are not muted like in the picture. If that's what you want, you'll probably like this rug, unfortunately its not what we wanted. Lastly the shipping was incredibly fast so Overstock did a great job there.

This is a fabulous rug but almost a gray and light blue color with bursts of cranberry. This is not the color i needed but I made it work. LOVELY and well made. Safavieh is the best. Thanks O!

They carpet has continued to fluff off and I have had it for a number of years. I would be cautious about buying a carpet again without seeing it first.

If you are considering spending $800-$1200 on a **** rug...DON'T! I finally gave in and ordered this after all of the positive reviews. I am thrilled with this purchase, and would definitely rec. this to anyone. The colors are neutral, the pattern is current and stylish without being too trendy, and the thickness and luster are very nice! It looks BETTER than the **** rugs I have seen at my friends houses, and I paid a third of what they would have cost. The picture on my monitor made it look a little more tan/beige...but it came in lighter and more like a fawn beige...and the colors of sage, blue, red, gold are beautiful and tone of each blends perfectly with the overall color scheme. You could even get away without using a rug pad, its that thick... Absolutely better than I expected!

I ordered two different sizes. Both are good quality for the price. They did not shed at all. The only thing I would say is that they have a hint of green in the tan, for me that was not a problem, because it blends in with my colour scheme.

OK, so... I read the reviews before purchasing and knew that many felt the color was way different than the picture, and I, too, felt this way when I unrolled it. But when you zoom in and look closely at the detail of the rug, it's accurately photographed. This is a medium-brown rug (tan), and what O.co is calling Ivory, I would call a light cafe color. This rug is brown, brown, brown. And yes, there's unexpected blue, too, but I'm ok with that. In all, I think the quality is pretty average, maybe a step up from a piled Home Depot or Target area rug. If I had seen it in a store before purchasing, I probably wouldn't have bought it.

I've purchased 2 of these rugs, the 5x7, and an 8x10. The 5x7 is more attractive and sheds less. The rugs have little popes that I love. It's quite nuetral and if that what's needed for the job this would be ok for you. Just remember you must vacaum often or the house gets dirty by it's self. I've only purchase good woven rugs before and this never happened and it's an unpleasant surprise.

I really like this rug. It is thick and warm with just enough color not to overpower the rest of my furniture, although I agree with other reviewers that the wide outer boarder could be seen as more blue than green. However, I am very happy with this purchase

Overall, we are very pleased with this product. Its really and excellent quality rug for the money. This is a very understated rug that is a great complement to the room and easy to play up or down depending on your other furniture and color choices. PROS: We purchased this rug for our dining room after a recent move. Overall we are extremely pleased with the excellent quality of this area rug. The weave / pattern of the rug is well defined and provides a rustic Persian look with excellent pile density and great cushioning. CONS: The actual colors of this rug were a bit more muted than we orginally expected. In person, the pattern is more subtle than appears in the photos. This isn't really a con - just something to note in your purchase decision.

I am very happy with this rug. Because the color is very muted, I think it would work with just about anything. It is very thick and feels good to the touch. This rug does not seem to shed much either. I have it in my living room with a burgundy leather sofa and a muted brown, gold, burgandy and teal patterned chair. Love it! 2nd great rug I've purchased this year from Overstock. The color shown online is a very good representation.

I ordered this rug because all of the reviews were positive and very helpful when describing the quality and color. It looks perfect in my dining room and the colors are subtle and match very closely with the photo shown. It is thick and looks like I paid more for it than I did. Very happy with this rug.

Its a elegant looking rug. The color is not overwhelming. The quality appears to be above average, specially for the price.

It’s a perfect neutral rug. I can see this blending well into most color schemes. Am I the only one who thinks Overstock delivers too fast? Seems like tracking info shows up the day it’s being delivered, and I’m scrambling to get home in time for delivery.

This rug is beautiful and versitile. It is casual enough to go in any room of the house and can be dressed up or down. Great b uy for the money- very thick pile and durable. I have several of these rugs throughout the house and they have withstood the high traffic beautifully!

Beautiful, thick rug. Colors are very earthy and muted with the spike of red. A bit more olive green than tan to me but still looks great with my cream colored bedroom. No shedding so far. Great rug, especially for the price.

This rug has great colors, but it does shed a lot for the first few months.

Carpet is a great buy for a very good price. I believe the description said that the carpet has a beige background but I think that pale green would have been more accurate.

This rug is made of beautiful muted colors and it gives a warm and comfortable feel to the room. It is nicely made and there is very little shedding. It is a great deal. I would recommend it.

I placed my order on Friday and received my purchase on Tuesday morning. The delivery time was faster than I expected. I didn't have a chance to buy a carpet pad so put the carpet down w/o one for now. This rug is beautiful.and much more vibrant than the photo. The background colors are muted which will allow me to choose my color of furniture. The red is very bold, yet blends nicely and doesn't stand out. I have plaid curtains in my living room and the scheme is perfect. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I haven't seen any shedding, as others have a problem with. I have another rug from this site and the pile is much higher on the other rug. The other sheds so much and has for over 6 months. Great rug, great price, completely satisfied!

I bought this rug in August 2008, and have hated it ever since. It shed buckets of fibre, mountains of fibre all over my house. I have dark hadwood floors and I still find carpet fibres all over my floors from this rug. I have bought other rugs (hand tufted) from Overstock, but none of them have shed as much as this one. It shed so much it killed my Roomba vaccuum. The colors and pattern are nice, a lot more muted than the picture.
