Quality of the rug is appears to be excellent. Based on the picture and written description, I was expecting warm shades. The description is not inaccurate, but the effect is much cooler and did not match the warm shades (brown leather and brown/rust/ivory/yellow textiles) I'm using in my living room.

The rug is well made, yes it does shead as most wool rugs tend to do. But this should get better or time and a few vacuums. The color is more khaki/faint green and very prominate dark red. It will give class to any room and i would buy again. Though the color is off it gives great class to my living room.

I ordered this rug in the smaller size (4 X 6) so I could see whether or not I liked it and whether or not it worked with my color scheme. The rug is a beautiful light green with golden, darker green, and brick colored designs in it. It is accurately pictured on the Overstock website. The rug is very rich looking and plush. It matches my room perfectly ( red brick walls with brick red tile floors and panelling on one wall) and I will shortly be ordering the 9 X 12) size to complete the look in my family room. It really brings all these colors together and makes the room so cozy and comfy. I have vacuumed it several times which seems to take care of the very slight shedding. It is really a beautiful rug and well worth the price!

I am not the type to ever order anything like this off of the internet without seeing it firsthand, however, going off of all the other reviews I thought I'd give it a whirl. Wow, am I glad that I did. It looks great in our living room. The colors are beautiful and I just love the little bit of red as well. Great purchase, glad I gave it a shot. Definitely looks much more expensive than what I spent!

This rug is absolutely beautiful. (I purchased 5 of varying sizes to fit the room as well as a hall runner, so this review will serve to comment on all 5 since I purchased identical rugs). The quality is far superior to rugs that I've purchased at retail stores. The name brand is well-respected, Safavieh! I'm pleased with the lovely muted tones. I feel that the colors and design will complement just about any decor. Not blue as many others have said, but more of a lovely sage green. The tan is a drop darker than I wanted, but lovely anyway. The red, while more of a rusty cranberry color is still gorgeous. Blends with any decor, and yes it IS muted, despite other reviews.There is no shedding, and the soft feeling of the wool underfoot feels wonderful. I purchased padding for comfort and to keep from slipping, which came after the rugs were already in place, so I'll get around to using them one of these days...The fact is that you do NOT need the padding or non-slip...comfy soft and cushy rugs that I adore. I may return the padding after all. The quality of the workmanship, hand-crafted of 100% wool, pleases me immensely, as rugs of this quality cost far more anywhere "out there"...the price was right, and the rapid-fire shipping was unexpected and much appreciated. Do not hesitate to purchase this rug, if you are seeking a neutral, classic and fine quality rug.

Nice and thick. I bought two sizes, this one goes in the entryway, so it gets used a lot. It sheds tiny fibers a little, but I've only had it two weeks. I've only had to vacuum the normal amount. They layed down nicely, no smell. Happy camper.

This is a very nice soft rug, especially for the price. It does pill quite a bit but should get better after lots of vacumming. It is very neutral and works well in my space to add warmth without a lot of bold pattern which is what I needed.

I chose this rug because of the description and it was exactly right. I ordered the smallest size to check the color because I wanted to order a very large one. I was so pleased with the color and quality. The rug arrived quickly and was in great co dition. I would definitely order again.

I have this rug near the eating area of my kitchen. It has an old world look to it. I really like it. The quality is great, gets a lot of traffic and my dog thinks I bought it for him and so far shows no wear. Am very happy with it.

This was a replacement for an identically-named rug that I bought last January (the pets got sick one too many times). Last year's version was lighter, and much classier looking. This year's version is more of a den-type rug than living-room quality colors. I had toyed with ordering the "beige" description, but went with the description for the rug I liked last year. That was probably a mistake. But, too much effort to return it, since I can probably count on the pets to ruin it within a year or so.

I like the rug. Only two issues. First, the red (which is more of a deep red) really pops out on the rug. Not so in the picture. Second issue is the fact that this rug pills like crazy!!! I really hope that after awhile this stops from happening. Otherwise, its a nice rug. Would probably order it again if I couldn't find one similar that is not made of wool.

This rug is beautiful. It is subtle, yet has very lovely neutral colors within the rug. The rug is very thick with a consistency much more expensive than the price. Great buy and beautiful addition to any room with the muted, neutral colors.
