Handmade Alexa Premium Leather Beige Shag Rug (8' x 10')

Yes, you get what you pay for. This rug looks good overall from a distance and at a great price from Overstock but after spending a small amount of time in the room with the rug the less than stellar quality becomes apparent. Many of the leather strips are obviously scraps of some sort. Some are shiny silver on one side, tan on the other or tan with dark blue pen markings on them. It is still shedding strips after 4 months(which are easy to reinsert if desired). It does have a distinct odor which diminishes with time. It is best in a room with little traffic (like a bedroom).

Excellent service and great product from overstock. The rug is just what I was expecting, earth colors (beige, pumpkin, capuccino, and ivory). Very contemporary and looks great on my stained concrete floor of my wine cellar.

This rug is both stylish and unique. This is my 3rd purchase of the leather shag style rugs, and this specific rug is a great neutral color. I'm using it in my master beadroom. My only complaint is that many pieces of the shag came off very easily just in unrolling and putting the rug into position on the floor. I don't remember this happening so easily with the other 2 rugs I purchased. Anyway, I think its very attractive and adds a really stylish touch to the room. Shag pieces are of varying width and slight variations in tone adding to its character. I'd definitely recommend this rug. I've gotten many compliments on it already.
