Not quality
Don't let the description about handcrafted quality fool you. There is nothing quality about this clock. It is cheaply made. However, it is exactly the style I wanted and so far keeps good time. It is overpriced, considering the mediocre quality. I will keep it though, looks good from a distance, just don't look too closley.

Vintage Inspired
This was a First Anniversary Gift for my daughter and son-in-law. They love vintage decor, have a woodburning fireplace with with a lovely mantel, and this clock has the place of distinction on the mantel. They love the clock and so do I. It was a very good choice.

No family heirloom, but lots of fun
Ordered this piece for my mantel. It is lightweight, shipped in excellent condition and fits the narrow depth of the mantel. Reminds me a bit of 80's hair. Looks fantastic from the front, but you really don't want to see it from behind. The clock body and face are ornate; the scrolled metal work is lovely. However, the back is hollow and the clock mechanism is of generic quality. It is very much an inspiration piece with no long-term value. Enjoy it for the decorative piece it is, but don't think you're fooling anyone. Thanks Overstock for another great find.

The clock looks great on my mantle - really dresses it up. Diamter of the clock face is about 8 inches.
