argento wall clock in frame
A previous review stated the frame was darker than the clock and it is but it isn't distracting as they are both brown. The clock is weathered copper so the greenish color in the creases is part of the natural process. I like the french writing and have it hung with old french menus that I have in rustic wooden frames. It looks really cute in my kitchen.

attractive clock
Looking for a small to medium clock that could either be placed on table top or hung on the wall. This fit the bill perfectly. Goal was for a size that was not too big yet could still be read from 10' or more away. Had tried one purchased elsewhere, but the clock mechanisim was just too loud when the room was quiet, so returned it. This one is very, very quiet....which was mandatory. Overall quite please with the clock.

Looks cheap
The picture shows, and I didn't notice, that the wood on the frame is a completely different color than the wood on the clock. It looks odd, but, that was my fault for not noticing. However, the clock face is very nice but there is a light blue color around the bevelling that looks really bad. This isn't clear in the photo. Really makes it look much cheaper than it is.
