Nice, soft underfoot but repeatedly sheds dirt!
I've had it for 20 months and the edges are stretching and the weave is beginning to come apart. Also the black dirt still sheds onto my hardwoods, kind of nasty!

great sisal rug
i ordered this on overstock and it came really fast. The rug is much better than expected and beautiful. I normally think natural fiber rugs are hard to the touch but this is very soft!. I am using it as a base and put our cowhide rug on top!

Be Careful
This rug is actually jute not sisal. The description says sisal weave which is accurate but if you want a sisal rug this is not it. On the good side, it is very soft and thick. It would go well in a casual setting. On the downside, it contains an extraordinary amount of dust. If you or family members are allergic....beware. I returned it because I wanted sisal and hated the dust.

Terrific Rug!
I had been looking for a sisal rug for my dining room for months and after reading some reviews I decided to go for it. It's perfect -- exactly what I was looking for. The weave is softer than I thought it would be, which was a pleasant surprise. There was no odor - which some of the reviewers spoke of . The price is unbeatable -- and the shipping only took a few days. I've already received compliments on how well it looks on the dark hardwood floor -- it really warmed it up.

Stinky rug
Rug was as pictured, very rustic, with streaks of gray, dark and light tan, not one uniform color. It was well constructed and heavy, so you dont need a rug pad underneath. The problem I had was that the mildew smell lessened with time but didnt completely go away, despite leaving it to air out in the garage an entire week and then putting it in inside the house, which stunk up both stories. I had to remove it finally; I wouldnt recommend this one

Awesome Rug!
I love this rug! The color is perfect, it's made well and the texture is nice on the feet. Very inexpensive for what it is. It does have a slight smell (like grass) but who cares? I would recommend this rug for sure.

Great!
This is a thick rug - I liked it so much I bought another one for our family room! It is dirty however - i would suggest airing it out if possible first. All of our friedns and family love this rug and the look- we live at the beach so it works great!

Chunkier Than Expected
This looked much thinner to me in the picture. When I received it the weave was VERY chunky and much thicker than I expected. I was looking for something more flat and less textured in appearance, I guess. This was definitely not it. It is a very thick, chunky weave!

Awesome Jute rug!
I ended up buying four of these rugs and the pads to go underneath them from Overstock and was VERY pleased with the product as well as the efficiency of the delivery, the way it was packaged- I even had the UPS guy bring the large one into the house for me (as it was heavy and awkward size) so it was a wonderful experience of shopping all around.

So Sad
I love the look and feel of this rug, however after 10 months of constant shedding my husband insists that we find a different rug. We have dark brown wood floors and everything shows including what seems like millions of fibers from the rug. Every time you step on it fibers come loose, float into the air and land wherever the breeze might carry them. We can clean our floors twice a day and still need to clean if company is coming over. I personally love the rug and would continue to sweep just to keep it but with the sun lighting up our floors in the morning I finally agreed that it was time for it too go. Too bad.
