I bought this rug to use in the living room of my new house. I loved the texture of it in the pic and was delighted when I got it that it was so soft. Looks great on our new oiled white oak floors and also seems to vacuum easily in spite of the thick texture. I'm happy with it.

When I received this rug and opened it up, it did have a grassy smell to it. Others had also mentioned this so I was aware it would happen. My husband thought it smelled good. I thought it stunk. The smell was gone within two days. I have had the rug for 2 months now and am happy with the purchase. Although not 100%. I like the feel of it on my bare feet, but it would it would not be soft enough for a young child to crawl on. It is thick so it will leave your couch a little higher if you put half your couch on the rug and half off. The two things I am not too thrilled about is that it will leave dirt underneath the rug for quite a few vacuums. I end up rolling it up and there is a good amount of dirt from the rug on my hardwood floors. It is not from shoes as we do not wear shoes in the house and it is even across the whole area. Not cool. It is now after two months of vacuuming once a week under it, starting to slow down on the amount. The other issue that I have is there has been a few times where a piece of the rug will stick up (still connected though) and it is like a hard plastic. I have had that happen 2 times and cut them off. For the price it is a good rug, but honestly if I had more money, I would get something of higher quality (no dirt or hard plastic). If money is an issue, these are a doable. I really do like the look of the rug and it does clean up nice from spills. I also have a rug liner I bought for underneath it to keep it from sliding, but not sure its needed.

This is a great rug...I believe other reviews said it was thicker than they expected and this is true! Very thick but soft! Exactly what I was looking for!

Upon purchasing this rug i look at many. They were usually stiff and rough to walk on. I was surprised by the thickness of this rug and how soft it was to walk on. What i couldnt believe was the price. The others that I was looking at were almost double the price and this one was shipped to my door very quickly. Love it so much, I may order another one for my dining room.

An excellent jute rug- very thick and soft. It has a slight, grassy smell at first, as to be expected given then density of material. This was easily remedied by hanging it over the deck banister for a few hours. If you're looking for a quality rug, look no further. But do measure for clearance if a door is to open over this rug. Exceptional quality for the price.

received very quickly & was very excited to put this into my dining area. it felt good to walk on. a few strands started to unravel and i fixed it. then a few more. by the 3rd month, it was hard to keep up with the unraveling. it is the perfect size for the area i have it in. i'm so heartbroken. it went perfectly with my decor but is starting to look so tattered. there's only 2 of us living in this house & i would think a rug would hold up even longer with the traffic of 2 people.

What an excellent find! This rug is 'rich' in color and texture and even feels great under bare feet. It has tones of pale yellow, beiges and even subtle gray woven together into a beautiful natural tapestry. Don' t hesitate to order it! You won't regret it!

This rug was purchased for my beach house. It appears to have two different textures as one side is very soft with a flat weave and the other side has a raised weave however soft on the feet. The raised weave side appears darker than the other side. The tag was on the flat weave side leading me to believe that the raised weave side is the side that is to face up. I am sure this rug can be used reversible to ones liking. I have the raised side up but may change to the flatter side because it is the lighter color I was looking for. Nonetheless both side are quite nice. The rug does have an odor; which most rugs of natural grasses do. The rug does not have a lining and would suggest a pad to prevent sliding especially when putting down on a hard surface.

This is a great rug at an amazing price! I ordered it for my dining room because I wanted a slightly bigger rug than what I already had and I wanted to add texture to the room. I accomplished both! As the other reviews mentioned, the rug is pretty soft to the touch which is hard to know with some jute rugs. It's also thick which adds to the overall comfort and feel of the rug. I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it!

This rug is a great beachy rug. Exactly what I wanted. Very thick pile , about 1/2" to 3/4". The color is full of rich browns with a few golden accents. Strong woven appearance that gives that rustic look.

The quality of the rug is great! It's softer than expected walking barefoot on it. There is some dust/dirt debris under it which isn't thrilling. Hopefully that will no be an ongoing issue. Otherwise I love this rug! The texture and quality are great! Just beautiful! Messy, but beautiful and beautiful will trump in this case!
