I was nervous about buying online but couldn't find what I wanted in the stores (or on other sites.) I feel the quality is excellent for the price - a great deal. Some others have mentioned (in reviews) the odor from the carpet - it did have a chemical odor for a few days but it went away completely - I imagine being wrapped up in plastic and then sitting in the sun on my back porch after it was delivered intensified the odor. This carpet has changed the whole look of my living room. I was planning on repainting and seriously thinking of replacing my sofa and chairs but bringing this new, neutral color carpet into the room made everything look fresher. Everyone walks in and asks if I bought new furniture because the room looks so great. It feels wonderful to walk on with bare feet and now I also enjoy laying on the soft, comfy rug. It took a couple of days for all of the small folds "wrinkles" to lay flat but now I'm thrilled. The lower pile sculpted lines give the rug added interested. Love this rug and my first Overstock buying experience. It arrived so fast I was shocked to find it outside the house when I got home from work. It was a beautiful, hot day but it was wrapped so well that even if it had rained it wouldn't have harmed the rug.

I am glad that Overstock added more pictures to this listing. I purchased this item 6 months ago based on the extremely zoomed in image only, so was surprised by the multiple rectangles, but I got used to them. I also feel like the contrast between rectangles isn't as stark as in the photos. I found the color to be slightly cooler (more of a taupe) than in the pictures shown, but I had actually made the decision to purchase this rug based on other reviews which said so about the color. The fibers are dense, unlike other shaggy rugs where you can feel the rough knots when you dig your fingers in. I was worried about how the rug would hold up to my dog who sheds like crazy, and it's done just fine. I vacuum it weekly on the high pile setting (or the one just under that). And in-between vacuuming, it does a darn good job of concealing all that fur.

BEWARE this rug is NOT beige. It looks NOTHING like the picture. The rug is dark tan. I returned because it did not match. The quality was great for the price just very disappointed in the error on color.

Read the many reviews about this before purchasing and the issue of color being darker than pictured is confirmed. Which is what we were hoping for!! It's very thick and cozy. Delivery was very fast...faster than we expected. Haven't had the rug long but it has laid in nice and cleans easily. So far we are very satisfied with the purchase. My thinking on the color is it's more of an oatmeal than beige.

The rug was not the color shown on the photo, it shows beige, but when I received it, it was gray. However Overstock was wonderful to deal with, there was no problem returning it for a refund. Very pleased with their customer service department.

Although the actual color is darker than the picture, it is still very nice. The rug is sturdy and yet it is soft and luxurious. It feels good under your feet. I would definitely recommend it for a family room.

Love this rug! It's exactly what I expected based upon the reviews I read. Luxurious feel, vacuums well. The color is darker than shown; more of a taupe, but I'm okay with that. Very nice for the price. Arrived quickly.

I ordered the rug with the design in mind. When I got the rug it was a plain shag rug. I can still use it as the colors were ok, but I was disappointed that I did not get what I ordered.

I am returning this rug ASAP. I purchased for a nursery to go along with tan/cream color theme and this rug is nothing like the picture description. It has grey brown tones. Also, I would not say this is a shag rug whatsoever. Very unhappy!!

This rug is awesome! It has brightened up our living room space, and is so comfortable to walk, lay, or play on. My infant loves crawling on it, and spend most of our daytime playing on it. We placed a felt rug pad underneath, so it's extra comfy. It laid down within a day, and stays put. I was a little worried about tripping on the embroidered edges, but they stay very flat. This rug does not disappoint!

We are truly delighted with the rug. The pattern is not from two shades of beige but from long and short shag. Although the color is different the rug is actually nicer than depicted.
