After looking at rugs from Baby Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn Kids, I decided to go with this one for its neutral colors and softness. This rug has delivered both. The picture is fairly accurate, though the design is a little less distinct when you're standing on top of it and don't have a bird's eye view. The texture is wonderful - soft and cushy. Know, however, that the white part has a harder texture and a lower pile. There was some shedding, but nothing that wouldn't disappear with a vacuuming. My husband remarked that the side stitching wasn't the best quality, but overall, I think that it was an excellent buy and value.

The rug I received was not the one pictured. The pattern is similar, but instead of the pattern being all in cream (on a beige background) the pattern is half brown and half cream. (The flowers are cream and all the "branches" (which are much more predominant than in the rug shown) are brown. They must have changed the design after taking the picture and not updated the picture.

If you are expecting a rug that is just beige and cream, this is not the rug for you. As I mentioned, there is a LOT of darker brown design within the rug...a whole other color added in, and there's quite a bit of it. Even though it was not what I was expecting, I am going to keep it so I don't have to hassle with the return process.

It's almost like a whole different rug, except the cream design in the same. Wish this would have been shown in the picture of the actual rug... Maybe they've changed the design? I was in search of a rug that offered a great plush feel and this suited my needs perfectly. The rug actually has more brown in the design than pictured on the site.

this rug is just okay. I have ordered many rugs from O.co and this is the least favorite so far. The brown is really brown and not as tone on tone as I thought it would be. It'll work but I am somewhat disappointed in this one.

This rug has exceeded my expectations! I was looking for a rug with pattern and my fiancé wanted a shag rug, this was the absolute perfect medium of the two! We couldn't be happier! It completes our living room. :)

I purchased this rug for my living room. I wanted something soft and neutral with slight pattern. I was a little concerned about a "shag" rug but I love it. The pile is not too much and it giv\es a nice texture to the room. I've looked everywhere for a rug with no luck. This is my 4th rug purchase from Overstock, and I've been happy very time. Shipping was fast as usual. I have three kids and a dog and it has held up very well.
