We ordered this rug thinking that it was a continuous weave kilim that was woven in a patchwork pattern. It is literally a patchwork rug (like a quilt) with pieces sewn together. As a result, the carpet has a million bulky seams. It doesn't lay flat and the seams are uncomfortable to walk across. we specifically wanted a kilim or dhurrie because of the flat (low/no pile) nature of these regs, as well as their durability. I can imagine how difficult it would be for our toddler to manage with her little toy stroller, and it might even cause our 5-year old to trip. It would also not be comfortable to sit on the seams..... It's a pity. The colors are pretty and warm. Would've been an A+ purchase without the seams. If we order a rug on-line again, I would call before pushing the button to ask more detailed questions. Finally, I almost had a heart attack when I went to request a return label and the order history indicated that the rug was "not returnable!" The lesson here is to call customer care if you ever see those words next to something on your order history that you wish to return. Customer care took good care of me.
