Hand-woven Silken Titanium Grey Shag Rug (5' Round)

I get a lot of compliments on the rug. A friend's child immediately dropped down and did "angels" in it when she saw it! I love the way it catches the light and has different shades from different angles. It is not a cushiony rug, so you may want a rug pad if you are putting it on a hard surface and want that feeling. However, it has a relatively soft canvas bottom, so it will not scratch hardwood floors if you choose to do without a pad. this is a name-brand safavieh rug, so it is a great value. The size is small enough to make it versatile but big enough to be noticed. I have it in my formal living room, and the round shape creates a focal point and softens some of the squared-off edges in the room such as rectangular paintings and a modern, tailored loveseat.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? It looks greenish on my screen, but it is not greenish at all in real life. Depending on the lighting and which angle you are looking from in relation to the nap, the color varies all the way from silver at the lightest to almost black at the darkest.
