The pattern on this rug is very subtle - no jazzy element here, which is fine. Mine hasn't shed any, and the pile is soft. My major complaint about it is that it is kind of dirty looking on arrival - it's ivory, but dirty ivory. It also came slightly dirty - when I unrolled it, one of the sides looked like it had gotten dirty compared to the rest of the rug. I'm tucking that side under the couch, so I don't really care, but all in all, this was a mediocre purchase. I've been much more satisfied with other Overstock rugs.

The craftmanship of this rug is very poor. The wool in the rug is very rough. Additionally, the corners and edges were curled when the rug arrived and the rug did not want to lie flat. The color was also whiter than what was described. Worse of all was the odor of the rug, which was very bad.
