I've had this rug for a number of months and cannot be happier with it. I get compliments all the time on it. It's comfortable and soft to walk on and is holding up very well. I have two black dogs that shed profusely, the rug hides the dog hair well enough that I don't feel like I have to vacuum every other day but is easy to vacuum when I get around to it. BE VERY CAREFUL when vacuuming though! If you don't have a vacuum that allows you to turn the brush off I would NOT recommend this rug. I tried vacuuming with an old vacuum with the brush on the highest setting and all the threads in the rug started coming unraveled. I needed a new vacuum anyway and ended up choosing one with a brush off setting for this reason.
At first I was a little surprised at the look of the rug. "Hand woven" is basically "braided" in my opinion. It looks like long strips of braided rug. But, it feels very well made. It is soft, has a nice thickness and I really like the orange and tan colors in this rug. It only took a short time to really start to appreciate this rug. The colors brighten up my living room. I have gotten complements on it. And I like that it is made from jeans and hemp. It makes me feel that I am doing something for the environment. I would definitely order this again.
This rug is much more orange than it looks online. More of a pumpkin color. It is also more of a square than a rectangle. Large knot of dark fibers on one side of the rug. Noticing loose orange strings on my hardwood flooring. Not a fan so far. I'll see how it goes.
Even though we only have two of us in the house, After only 6 months it is really looking ratty. There is a patio off the dining room which makes it a busy room. Wonder how I am gong to clean it now too. If I had to do it over I would not choose this one. It might be going into the basement before too long.
