Quality of this rug is very high and the color -- a whitish/yellow, faded hay color matches the images on website. Woven natural fibers are browns, whites and yellows but neutral overall. Looks great in my rustic/cottage living room. I looked at endless jute and sisal rugs and decided on this one. It was more expensive than most but I think its a quality item. The Jute is knobby and feels great on the feet. Just one or two "sticks" pulled out after walking through it initially. It looks great and seems to be holding up to vacuuming and traffic. My husky loves it and it hides all his (white) hair pretty well. Shipping was awesome - arrived well wrapped in about 3days (one day earlier than expected). No smell either as reported with some jute.
I have been looking at jute rugs everywhere, and I finally settled on this one, and I'm glad I did. I got a stylish, neutral color, soft rug for under **** The same rugs at ***** more. We have pale yellow walls in our LR, so this rug added the perfect natural touch to our decor. It really looks great.
This rug has a nice color, but it is very, VERY thick and floppy. I bought it for our dining room and I think it would work better in a lower traffic area (ours is high traffic). It folds over and flops around a lot. I have had no odor or shedding at all from it and it does not show dirt or pet hair. Texture mismatch is probably my own fault and not the rug's.
