Overall it is very good, especially at this price point. The fur is a little rough as mentioned, but it is fine. We use it as a center piece rug in our living rum since we have wood floors. The rug really pulls the whole room together and looks great. Very happy with this purchase. Don't forget to put a mat under as the rug does slide around easily.
The fibers in this rug are even fuller than they appear in the ad.....very rich...I have placed it over my existing carpeting (which is a must- OR- purchase a rug pad ) as the backing on this rug is extremely thin...
My mother bought Flokati Rag from Greece 20 years ago, it was very well made. I expected this will be the same, but it is very light weight...it is like a blanket more than a rag. I love the color of Grey, but it sheds a lot, too.
This area rug looks great in my living room and is a favorite lounging spot for the children. It is soft to the touch and on the eye against the hardwood floor.
