This is by far the best thing I've got from Overstock! I'm still a little in awe. The rug is wonderful - I wish I had room for a larger one. Very thick and soft (and light weight, easy to pick up and shake out.) I've only had mine a couple of days, and have no pets or kids, so I haven't noticed the excessive shedding that some people get. I DID finally get a dog-comb tonight to start combing it out and fluffing it a bit, but even without it, just giving it a good shake fluffed up the wool plenty.Never having seen one of these rugs in person, I was worried about what I was getting, but it's exactly what I was hoping for - absolutely perfect. Thank you Overstock!

This rug is just what I expected it to be! Great! I knew I wanted a flokati rug for the living room to complete my midcentury modern aesthetic. Read all the reviews and for this price couldn't resist.***It takes a couple of days to fluff up***Comb the rug when you get it-- either way you will have little fuzz balls to pick up everyday

I have purchased several rugs from Overstock in the past 2 years and I am always amazed but the value and quality . This Flokati rug is no exception. You simply cant find anything like it in terms of plushness at this incredible price. The wool is very soft and very thick. If your in the market for a Flokati THIS IS IT.

after reading some of the negative reviews of this product, i was frightened that the rug would end up looking like rat hair, or something. i also expected it to be incredibly itchy because of the wool. i was pleasantly surprised when i received it today, which by the way was only 2 business days after i had ordered it. the wool is VERY soft. craftsmanship is impressive as well. sure it sheds, but i feel like that is typical of ALL wool (think about it, your winter sweaters shed don't they?). also the value of this rug is incredible. i looked at many other stores before checking overstock, and these rugs ran well into the $300s-$500s, especially for the size. overall much more satisfied than i thought i would be. don't take the negative reviews too seriously, especially since this rug is such a great value.

I purchased this for my new grandchild's room. The rug is beautiful, and so very,very soft. I researched the flokati rugs before purchasing.This rug at 2000gm was middle of the line,highest 4000gm. I was very happy to find such a reasonable price for such a high quality rug!

I just bought a loft and needed something to soften up the look of the concrete floors, and this rug did the trick. It looks great in my new space and feels good beneath my bare feet. My only complaint is that it sheds a little, but that was to be expected. I also didn't comb it like the instructions said to remove the loose strands. Overall a GREAT RUG!

I love this rug! It looks and feels fantastic. I was just wondering if it is EVER going to stop "shedding"??? It's like having a dog or very hairy cat. The only downfall I have about this rug is that you can't vacuum it. Good thing it's small enough to pick up and shake outside.

The purchase of this Flokati rug has been my best experience on Overstock. After searching and returning 2 other sh ag rugs that I bought from different vendors I finally gave it another try and bought this one. It's a far better rug then any other. The shipping was also very fast. thank you.

I bought this rug because it looked super soft in the picture. It feels like wool, not like a sheep skin rug (as it looks in the picture). It DOES shed. I am not able to vaccum it because the pile is too long. Vaccum attachments only. I have 2 little kiddos and a yellow lab and I can already tell that it is going to be almost impossible to keep it nice looking. It is super slippery on wood floors, so you need to buy a gripper mat for the underneath. It was a good price so it can work for a while, but definetly not exactly what I was looking for.

I would recommend this product to a friend with a warning that you will have to brush the rug everyday if you don't want balls of wool in every corner of your house. You can tell it is a well made product and it looks very nice, but the maintenance is kind of a pain.
