great buy
This rug looks way more expensive than what i paid for it on overstock. i am very happy with the look of it in our living area. obviously jute is not a very "comfy" material, so my husband complains about that, but i love the functionality for now. so far so good.

Soft to touch, and rustic looking
As this rug is hand-woven there are consequences that come with that. The rug looks of of a kind. It has knots and a few stray ends that come up in the middle of the rug, but I like that are a few uneven parts in it's texture. All around it's a good rug if you are going for a rustic look. It's soft to walk on, which is a wonderful surprise for a jute rug! Another surprise is the absence of a strong odor. I know a lot of people complain about the smell of jute rugs, but I have not noticed any odor.
