Not the texture or color I was hoping for
I was looking for something different with a lot of various colors. I thought the texture of this leather rug would be perfect for my new place. Honestly I don't really like it other than the leather scent as I walk in the door everyday. I expected it to be smoother in texture and not so bumpy, I can't place lamps or end tables on it. I would not buy again and thought about sending back however it's just too much of a problem to do so. I'm actually thinking about buying another rug and just storing this for a garage sale.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The product isn't as bright as the picture on the site
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. It sheads a lot more than you would think there are pieces falling off a lot.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Pretty accurate minus the issues that I've sited.

Interesting, however not practical.
The rug fills my entire apartment with the smell of leather, which I do not mind. It is a very interesting statement piece but not practical for anyone with a child. I can't even imagine how Im going to clean it, as it definitely cannot be vacuumed. When you look very closely at the rug it almost looks like a 4 year old made it. Its sloppy with all different dimensions of leather pieces, however I like the way it looks. Two of the leather strips already feel out and some of the leather strips have stickers on them, like barcode stickers. They are hard to peel off. It is very soft and makes the room feel very comfortable. Its just a strange rug and if thats what you like, you will enjoy it. Overall, I would give it a 7 ―.

Leather Shag Rug
After unpacking the area rug, I spread it out in my attached garage. Gave it plenty of time to air out, to let the leathery smell dissipate. (leathery smell was not overwhelming - just there) This rug has style! I love it. It isn't in my living room at the moment, I'm going to use it seasonally - fall and winter / down ... spring and summer / stored.

Surprisingly Good Quality for the Price!
This rug is a bargain! I was very impressed with the leather quality. The rug was well made too. I was afraid there might be gaps between the strips of leather, but it was full and provides a great shag appearance. One corner was a bit stretched out of alignment, but it is not noticeable due to the fullness of the shag pieces. Very pleased with the purchase.

Very casual heavy rug.
Very heavy and difficult to handle for one person. I really don't know how one would clean it. If you were to use a vacuum all the strips would come out. Some of the "strips" of leather/swede are really icky looking, like possbily dirty. Did smell of leather which I liked that smell. I returned the rug mainly because of color and did have to pay the heafty shipping fee of $.**via UPS. I needed help carrying and re packing the rug, It weighed in at 70#s to ship back so make sure you want this before buying.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Was not as colorful as picture indicates. more brownish and very little red/orange which what i was hoping for.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The strips are not tied into the backing, so there are alot of strips that come out.
