The rug is very attractive. The colors are rich and earthy. The problem is that there are end pieces that should be braided in that are already coming out. This was upon taking the rug out of the package. I think I can fix it by weaving in some strands to hold the pieces in but I fear for the longevity of the rug.

I ordered this rug in natural --the blonde color is more beautiful than I'd hoped. The rug has a very large and irregular weave yet is softer to the touch than another jute rug I have. There are some tufts where the ends are tied off, but I don't mind this. The rug has the earthy, handmade and rustic quality I was looking for.

The red is not a true red - it looks more hot pink.
