This is a very nice rug and very well priced. It has a casual feel, great for sunrooms or to accompany wicker. My only complaint is not about the rug itself, but that with a jute rug stains are very difficult to manage. Cleaning with water or most other products leaves a larger stain on the rug. If you have children or animals it will be difficult to keep clean. Mine lasted two years with an animal, then needed to be thrown away.

Like other reviewers, I am happy with this purchase. Rug arrived rolled up, and flattened out quite well on its own after a short time. One corner gets high traffic in my home, and it was problematic at first, as people caught their toe on it and it persistently curled up. I kept a heavy jar on it for awhile to keep it pinned down. After a couple of weeks though, it settled down on its own and stays nicely flat and no more problems. Perhaps the wetter weather (Portlandia) and moisture in the air lately has also helped it to relax. The color and texture are great. Natural rugs always have some "imperfections" that gives them character, so don't expect perfection. This rug looks great and just what I wanted. No persistent smells or anything.. I wish it came in a 9x12 and I would order one for my living room for a summer look.

This is an exceptional value. I received my rug in less than a week and was very impressed with the quality. I've had jute rugs before but never seen the stiching that this one has at the end of the rug, just before the tassels. I expect this will keep it from coming apart over time, which is what happened to my old rug (granted it was about 10 years old!). Once again, I appreciate Overstock!

I ordered 2 of these to work in my L-shaped beach house living/dining area. They came within a couple of days and they are perfect! Surprisingly soft on our bare feet for a natural fiber rug. My parents came to visit and ended up ordering a larger size of the same rug for their sunporch - seagrass is a new concept for them and they were surprised at how nice it looked and how soft it was.

I am very pleased with this rug. Although the color was deeper than I anticipated, it looks beautiful in our room. It ties together all the various wood tones of our furniture. The size was true, and it rolled out flat immediately. There was no odor at all. Naturally, it's a bit rough on bare feet--but that is to be expected for jute!

About one year ago I purchase a natural fiber rug from an interior design store for our dining room. I love it so much decided to buy another natural fiber rug for our master room. I looked on Overstock and couldn't believe the price! When I finally decided to order it, I received this beautiful rug very quickly. I'm still amazed at the promptness of delivery and the price for this beautiful rug. It matches our beach style home wonderfully. Thank You Overstock!

I bought two of these, and they are very nice rugs - great value for the money. I saw reviews that the rugs are not soft, and they were softer than my old seagrass rugs - definitely a good buy.

The quality of the rug is nice. I was not expecting it to be soft, and it is not. It's a heavy, substantial rug. Mine is 8 x 11, a bit bigger than I was anticipating.

The rug has more stripes than it appears online. It's a very unique and pretty version of a jute rug. It's rough, so not as ideal for a bedroom floor as I had thought. Would recommend, but be aware that it has noticable stripes and it's rustic and rough to the touch. Other than that, it's a very pretty rug.

Great rug, nice size, love the color and it hides stains in the dining room perfectly. I thought this was a good deal, especially since shipping is so reasonable. Sure, there's a little dirt in the rug. Just vacuum it up!

I agree that the color is darker than what appears on the site. It has a bit a grayish tone to it but is lovely! I've had my rug almost a month now and the only problem I can say I have is some of the threads pulling up afer I run my sweeper. Otherwise, it is a dream. Hardly any shedding vs my other rug. It will leave a bit of shedding on blankets and clothes if they touch the rug but as for creating a herd of dust bunnies on the floor - it does not! My previous rug exhausted me with the amount of fibers it shed, I was vaccuming everyday. Happily, I have only had to touch my sweeper once a week since my purchase! I was also very happy with the way it was shipped, the rug laid flat immediatley with no bumps or wrinkles. Had the weather been nicer (lots of snow!) I would have received it within 2 days but due to snow we had to wait a little over a week.

just got it. i got the natural - its a little darker than pictured but has wonderful subtle variations in colors of fibers. heavy! substantial looking rug. had fringes. 5/5

I almost purchased this rug from another well known retail store until I saw the reviews on their website. I found this rug and it was half the price and the reviews were much better, so I ordered it. The rug arrived within 3 days and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The quality is terrific, it looks just like the picture, and the price was so right!! The one and only thing that keeps it from being perfect, is that it's hard under bare feet. No fault of the rug, it's not meant to be a plush carpet. It's truly a beautiful rug. The slight variations in color and the texture really make it stand out on my hardwood floors. Highly recommend.

Substantial rug with beautiful, subtle tones--not overly yellow like some natural fiber rugs. It has a rough, ropey surface that is great to walk on but you wouldn't want to sit on it. It's perfect on my sunporch and I expect it will last a long time. This 8 x 10 rug has fringe.

I am pleased with this rug. The textures is as pictured, though the color is not quite as "bright" as I expected. It did not have any sort of "smell" as I have heard other natural rugs can have. I would recommend it to anyone looking for this type of rug.

I obsess over most purchases and this one was no exception. After looking everywhere for the perfect rug, I found this one. The workmanship is excellent, the color is true to the picture, and it arrived within 3 days after ordering. I ordered one of the rug pads also and the combination of the pad and rug makes for a look that would be associated with a much more expensive rug. I am thrilled with the purchase and the rug adds a lot of warmth to the room. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
