VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THE RUG LISTED WAS NOT WHAT WAS SENT. LISTED AS SISAL RUG. SHIPPED 100% JUTE RUG. ANYONE WHO HAS A SISAL RUG KNOWS IT CAN WITHHOLD CHILDREN, PETS, SPILLS ETC.... JUTE DOES NOT. SENT IT BACK AS THEY THOUGHT THE WAREHOUSE SHIPPED THE WRONG PRODUCT. RECEIVED 2ND RUG STILL 100% JUTE. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A SISAL RUG DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

still smells musty after about a week. hopefully that will dissipate. borders are still a little bit curled. overall, i like the look of this rug a lot. really improved my living room.

After reading reviews, I decided to purchase this rug several months ago. First I was dissapointed that it is jute not sisal. So fine, I thought, I can live with that since the price was right for such a big rug and it looked pretty good when received. OK... since then, my daughter spilled WATER on it and it left a huge stain. Not to mention, my dog was sick, so I cleaned up (with water only...no chemicals) and again a huge stain. Now I have 2 huge stains on it. If you have pets or kids or just want to have a life around a rug...this is not the one for you. My Mom has had several sisal rugs in her home, with 3 grandkids, 2 cats and a dog....every stain comes up with baking soda and water. This is what made me buy this rug...I assumed it would clean up well (we don't even eat in the living room and we don't wear shoes in the house)....I was terribly wrong and terribly dissapointed. Figured it would be too expensive to return....so I never even bothered. Might put this thing in the basement.

Received my rug today and I was totally pleased. Several reviewers had mentioned an odor, but our rug had none. It was as described and is good quality. Unbelievably--it came in three days and you can't beat the shipping price!! I would definately recommend this rug.

Love it; needed something really big and this it's great. rug arrived 48 hours after I placed the order. the sisal is soft under foot and the binding is very sturdy. the edges need to be flattened because it's shipped rolled up but just put something heavy on those two corners for a couple of days and problem solved.

I was only going to write about how amazing this rug is. No smell after a couple of hours, great quality and price. But the shipping blew me away! Thanks Overstock!!

Came in right away. Unfolded flat. There is a slight smell but it is outside so doesn't matter. We vacuum it every week and there are no problems with it at all. I love it.

Rug is exactly as advertised. No manky smell, no hard-to-disguise bulges. Actually LESS rough to the touch than a ***** version. No complaints here!

Previous reviewer is correct: this rug is jute, not sisal. The rug looks fine and as pictured, but has a very musty smell that has not decreased in over a week. Overstock was very good about arranging a return and refund.

I just had brand new carpet installed... and then I started dating a guy with an adorable Black Lab. Well I love the lab -- and the guy -- so I had to cover up the brand new carpet (11x11 family room cut out section) in a hurry! This rug adds a classy touch -- but exceeds the durability of a 90 lb furry friend rubbing on it all the time. Vaccums easily -- rolled out nicely - color matches the photo. No smell. No complaints. I had only ordered from Overstock.com one other time so, I wasn't sure if I made the right decision to try a large area rug. After looking around, I felt that I would give it a try. The sisal rug with black border is great! The order came very quickly and I am very pleased with the look and size of the rug for my enclosed porch. It was a great choice.

This is a great price for a rug this large and this nice. However, be prepared for some imperfections as it is a natural fiber, so there are places where there are slight color variations and some minor unravelling. The black border is nice and the perfect width to frame the rug. For the money, I am VERY pleased.
