We bought this rug in the dark brown for our kitchen. It looks great! However, it sheds a lot! The shedding almost looks like hair on the floor. We just have to sweep more often than usual. Also, the material is really rough. It was hard on my feet when on it for a while, i.e. cooking and washing dishes. After a couple weeks I got better used to the texture under my feet. I would recommend the rug, but maybe for a porch or something. We will keep this in our kitchen.

I purchased this jute rug for my kitchen,I am pleased with the softness but I have had to cut a few strands out of the rug which came loose. Overall it is a good rug but I was a little surprised that the quality wasnt better.

Very cool rug for our ecclectic home. We love natural fibers and this looks great on our bamboo floor. It is a bit thick and I couldn't use it at the front door which I had hoped.

This rug is AWESOME. I love how thick and textured it is. I was expecting a thinner cheaper looking rug. I bought the orange, and its wonderful!

I ordered this rug in the Aubergine with some hesitation based on some of the reviews about it being rough. When it arrived I was struck with how deep and beautiful the color was. Then I pulled it out of the packaging and was so pleased to see how SOFT it was. I don't know what all those folks were saying. Although i live n California and we go barefoot all the time so maybe our feet are less sensitive. It's a lovely rug and an enormous value for the price.

great rug! love the color and it's softer than I thought it would be. My dog had an accident on it and it was easy to clean.

I've had this rug in my kitchen area for almost 18 months and I'm still happy with the purchase. The brown is a deep, chooclate brown. It cleans up well. Good purchase.

I purchased this area rug in orange to go in my kitchen. I have two cats and two dogs, all of whom shed a lot and the cats tend to hack up hairballs frequently. Despite months and months of traffic and animals, it appears in good shape and you can't see any stains on it. It's probably more suited as a semi-indoor/outdoor rug, but in my house, you might as well be outside with all the animals. I would get more in other colors to go throughout the house if we didn't have a six-month-old getting ready to crawl.

I loved this rug... and did for quite a while. I had one problem. My cat threw up on it... yes. I know thats disgusting....but, it happens. I didnt know how to clean it. so, I did what I could. it hasnt been the same since. :( the rug is nice... the quality is great... it felt nice to walk on....so, maybe your luck will be better than mine ! :)

The rug is very thick and course. I was looking for something with a lower profile and more comfortable under bare feet.

This rug is alot softer than I thought it would be. I placed it in my kitchen nook under the cafe table and it looks great. Beautiful shades of green give a great pop of color! Thanks for the quick shipping as well.

Great rug, has unusual looped detail to the weaving. Very durable for an entrance foyer. Was slightly larger than I expected (possibly my miscalculation) but a great rug.

This rug is beautiful. It has gorgeous color and is very well made. I bought the green, which turned out to be a little too yellow for the area we chose. I went back to order the blue and it was gone. Bummer! But we are keeping the green one anyway and will find a new place for it.

I have this rug in my kitchen and it is just perfect. It fits nicely in between my cabinets. I purchased a non-slip pad for underneath and it stays put on my wood laminate floors. I purchased the burnt orange color and it was exactly as I expected and as it appearted on the site. The rug is nice and thick and soft under my feet. The loops are pretty lossely woven so if you have any animals that are a bit curious - this may not be the rug for you. I have to pull it up every morning until I can trust my puppy not to destroy it. Water stains dry up and disappear. I would purchase this rug in a larger size and use it in my living room or dining room I love it so much.

I'm very pleased with this purchase and it arrived well-packaged and very quickly. It looks exactly like it does on the web page; and it's very comfortable under my feet as I use it beneath my home computer and chair. It's a breeze to sweep clean, it's nicely durable and an attractive addition on my flooring. I got more than what I paid for with this rug !
