I have gotten this rug in two sizes for my living room. The rugs are well made, and incredibly durable. I ordered the green trim and the hue is very soft and pretty. I think they are a great bargain. They are made in India, and the label indicates no child labour was used in the manufacturing process. There is a musty odor for the first two weeks once they are unrolled, but it begins to lift. I think it is the fiber itself that needs to breathe. Each delivery was extremely fast, and no signature is required, which I very much needed.

I purchased the sisal rug to cover an inset in my laminate flooring that did not appeal to me. This rug was an economical fix to my problem. It fits perfect under my dining room table and I love the red border. I does have some minor imperfections and has a coarse feel under your feet, but I am really enjoying the rug in my new home. I think the imperfections just add character.

We bought this rug is beige. It still smells of the dye, a vinegar smell that has permeated the room that we put it. We had first thought it would diminish with time, but it has sat there now for three weeks...with no change in the odor-- I know a bit about textile houses and they didn't rinse and fix the dye which is why the odor continues. We'll end up tossing ours because its a hassle to return a 9x14 rug. We wouldn't recommend this rug.

I was hesitant to order a rug I couldn't see in person first, but I am glad I took the risk! Rug arrived in 3 days, no odor, nice thick weave - I am totally happy. The border is definitely YELLOW, so be prepared for that. I couldn't have expected more.

We had been looking for over sized area rugs for our new home at the Delaware shore. To be honest, I was a little nervous to order through the internet. We have had excellent purchases from Overstock before and are equally happy with these rugs. They arrived promptly in FOUR days! The quality is good and the texture nubby--I like the way they feel on bare feet, but would not be appropriate for yoga! Feel safe in ordering this item.

Great quality weaving, straight lines (hard to find in cheaper sissel/seagrass rugs), great backing and anti-slip function. Shipping was very fast, almost too fast, as we were in the middle of a move. Best rug I've seen for the price.

Carpet was easy to lay down. Looks nice. Edging (I got brown) looks really nice. It was exactly as described.

Great rug! Fit perfectly in dining room, good quality and I like the non stick bottom. I am barefoot alot and rug is comfortable to walk on.

Love this rug. I ordered two of these rugs, one for my living room and one for my bedroom, and I love them both. They are well made and an excellent value for the price. I searched dozens of websites and brick and mortor stores and couldn't find anything for this price and quality. A few people mentioned the smell but that's to be expected with natural fibers. For me the smell was gone by the second or third day. I had visitors a couple of days after receiving the rugs and they said they couldn't smell anything. Both rugs nicely laid out flat and corners stayed down. Oh, and fast shipping too.

love this rug! it is huge, well made and attractive (i got the yellow border, a nice light yellow as pictured). it turned my mud/laundry room into a sunroom/atrium for the price of a tiny area rug anywhere else. the shipping was super fast for the pittance they charge. bumps flattened in a week. latex backed so you don't need a pad. only down was the plastic it was wrapped in tore in delivery and one edge got scuffed - no biggie for me, since i was expecting it to get schmutzy sooner or later in my space. if you need a pristine look or are super picky, i'd call the call center and see if they can double wrap it for you or something.

My kids were really disappointed that I wasn't ordering a softer rug, because we rented a home last summer with some natural fiber rugs that hurt their feet. While this isn't a soft rug, the weave is fine for bare feet. I ordered the green, and was expecting something closer to celery. I would say this borders on lime green, but I'm getting used to the color, and it does go with my sofas. As for the quality, it's great. The binding is nice and wide and it's attached well. I only notice a faint smell, and it reminds me of the hayloft at my grandparent's farm. I'm secretly hoping it doesn't fade too much.

The rug is great. No odd smell. Rolled out nicely and is lovely in our living room. The shipping was amazing, the rug arrived in three days! My children think the rug is scratchy but the living room looks cool and airy with the help of this rug. I think this is a very good value.

I bought this rug for my living room as the blue trim pictured online would match my room color. The color was far less of a blue than pictured (ended up being a light baby blue). Also, the rug still smells of vinegar. There are numerous picks/pulls in the pile, and the pile is the texture of an outdoor rug. Still does not lie flat and ends are not straight. Has the look and feel of burlap. Ended up in my dining room as I did not want to spend the time and effort to return it. Far too pricey for the quality.

I bought this rug for my parents and they love it. The quality surpassed my expectations. The rug has a rubber backing to prevent it from sliding. The texture of the rug is softer than expected, which is desireable.

This big 9 x 13 sisal rug is absolutely a great value. It has a well constructed fabric border and works perfectly in my sunroom which happens to be the mainly used entrance to my house. I looked at many other natural fiber rugs, most of which were either more expensive, not well made, had too much texture/wide weaves, or didn't feel good under foot, so this rug had to fit a lot of criteria for my satisfaction. I should mention too that it was delivered within a week of my ordering.

Looks great and easy to take care ,great size and color

Elsewhere, this sisal rug would have cost me at least five times what I paid at Overstock. While there were a couple of "blips" in the sisal, none were heinous and it was easy to place furniture to conceal them. Besides, sisal is a natural fabric and often has irregularities. The border truly is a light blue--somewhere between aqua and baby blue--but I was tipped off to that by a previous buyer and I needed that shade of blue rather than the navy the picture represents. Buy with confidence!

I ordered this rug in the green. The color is a little lighter than I really wanted. To me it is more of a seagrass with a little yellow in it. BUT, I love the rug. The size was perfect and it looks great with my brown leather furniture. I did not have a smell with mine. It was well worth the price!
