nice rug
I like this rug. I looked for a while trying to decide what would work for my front entry and chose this. I had wanted a sisal rug that had rubber backing since this was for an entry and moisture could become an issue. But none of the rubber backed rugs were my size, so I chose this one. The entire back is cotton and so I put down a rubber rug pad to keep it from slipping. The rug is well made. There are 1 or 2 rope ends that stick up but no big deal. The rope that is woven with is about 1/8 inch wide so it is a coarse weave. But I think it makes the rug hefty and strong like a woven doormat. I like it as an entry rug or an indoor/outdoor transitional space due to it's coarseness. Arrived quickly and well packaged. No bad smells.

not impressed and disappointed
We orded a larger sea grass rug a few years from you and it was great. So we thought the guality woud be the same. Not. This one is very rough and uneven and a looser weave.We are very disappointed

I like my new seagrass rug just fine. I had to replace my previous one which had a finer weave (preferred) but the rugged aspect of this rug is great. I have it in my entrance way and it is perfect . Smells and looks great. Just don't get them wet, they don't do well with liquids.. Good price and prompt delivery. Exactly as I ordered it.

Beauty and Function In One
This is one of the best products I've bought online! Although this rug can be used outdoors, I've chosen to use it as an accent for my hardwood floor. It's woven with beautiful seagrass and bordered with a sturdy yet attractive fabric which adds texture to my decor. On certain days, I can still smell the natural scent of the grass and I've owned this rug for more than two years! It's practically maintenance free. Since I placed mine underneath a coffee table, it doesn't receive a lot of wear so I periodically I shake it out to get rid of any dust or loose particles, and use a handvac to remove any lint from the border. The only negative comment I have is that I wish I'd ordered a larger size!
