This rug was the "cottage" look I wanted. I remember the braided rugs my grandmother had and this one is very well made and soft to walk on!

This was a much needed addition to my living room, to bring some warmth & comfort without adding color! Super soft so I will even do my stretching (and possibly, napping) on it. The delivery shipped out on Thanksgiving morning, arrived 2 days later on a Saturday! And shipping was FREE! Um, yes, I am a happy customer!!

I totally love it so not much more I can say. I needed a solid straw colored rug to blend in with a southwestern aztec patterned area rug and was having a huge problem finding something that did not clash and would go well in my room with burgundy leather couches and fit the "comfortable" feel of this room. this jute rug is sooooo perfect and heavy, not a thin wishy washy thing. Even the dog enjoys being on it. Not scratchy, not soft either but just fine under bare feet.. Shows no dirt - whoopie

I bought this rug for our cabin kitchen and I think it will work beautifully. I like the oval shape and the quality look of the rug. Very happy with it so far!!

Great rug! I ordered this for my kitchen. Good quality and doesn't shed fibers. I plan to order another one for my porch. Perfect fit for a bistro set.

Unfortunately, the size does not work as well as I had hoped. Needed a 6' round as mu intended use of the rug was under a round table. I was not sure how the 6' oval compared. It would have been more helpful if I had known that the measuresement was a 4' x 6' oval rather than the description of "6' oval"

I don't write reviews but this was such an execellent purchase I broke that trend. I ordered this rug for my 9 yr old son's bedroom. Was thinking it would not be comfortable on bare feet but figured I could put it elsewhere if it didn't work in his bedroom. Mostly his room needed some texture not a lot of color. When this rug came I was truly surprised it was jute. Don't get me wrong, you would not be laying on this rug but definately comfortable under your bare feet and my son (who has sensory issues) was totally fine with it. It adds just the right amount of texture and is perfect. So perfect I ordered another one for my 11 yr old son's room! This is a great rug for the money, 6 feet length and an oval shaped the width is probably between 4-5 feet. This rug would work in any room, really recommend for the price and quality. No smell either...AT ALL!

First of all I am extremely impressed at how quick I got the rug in the mail. I ordered it on Wednsday 9-22 and it was in my kitchen by 12p Friday 9-24! I was expecting it to be in within 2 weeks, but hey that works too. However, the rug looks great. I have it placed under my dining table and it really does make it look overall better. To test it out, I let my kids (4yrs & 2yrs old) pull out the chairs as many times possible to see if the rug would withheld the constant sliding of the chairs. So far, so good. It has not pulled out any braids and it still feels really soft. I woud definitely recommend!

Whenever I buy something off the net I always read any available reviews. In this case all the reviews were excellent. The rug was the right size and color for my newly redone bedroom. When it arrived it was as beautiful as the reviews said. It is soft on the feet, looks great in my bedroom and I'm very happy with it. I also have 2 fawn Pugs that shed quite a bit, so I don't have many rugs in my house. This rug is easy to vac and doesn't show the dog hair as quickly as a darker rug would. All and all I don't think I could have found a better rug for my need.

Exactly what I was expecting. I needed something a little smaller, but I knew that when I bought it. I trimmed it down and it works great, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

This rug is way more expensive looking then the actual cost! Definitely worth the money!!!!

I was very pleased with this rug. It is a good quality and soft to walk on. I ordered it for a particular area and it was too small (my fault). So I immediately ordered a larger one (a rectangle) and used this one under the table and chairs in the same room. It is a lighter color in person which I was glad about. I also like the look of the braiding. I have always been pleased with Overstock. I received this rug the day after I ordered it! You can't beat $1.00 shipping (they were running a special on shipping) and the item arriving on your porch the following day! I will order again and I always tell my friends to check Overstock out.

This rug looks as nice as the picture - great tones of wheat colors - and came quickly. Good quality.

At last, I found an oval braided jute rug! I had been searching for "this very rug" in all the major rug suppliers on the Internet without any success. Boy, am I happy that I checked out Overstock.com. You had exactly what I was looking for and I was thrilled to receive it. Thank you, thank you!!

The jute rug is now on our hardwood floor and it completes the look I wanted. The color on the site looked darker than it is, and I like it the natural blend of shades. I ordered it because the reviews were so good and I had to agree (especially NO SMELL -- which was really important to me!) Wish there was a runner to go with it!

This rug is awesome. Layed flat even after being rolled tightly for shipment and NO smell. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the color is way off. It is advertised as being a dark brown but is actually a gold color. I don't mind the color though - it looks great under my kitchen table and with my pine colored wood floors.

I love this rug; I was looking for something a little more casual in our foyers, but didn't want the bound jute/sisal rugs. I thought their binding would be a little too tailored for what I wanted. This fit the bill perfectly. Color is a little brighter gold than pictured, but still goes very well. I ordered the smaller one as well to use somewhere else.
