I'm very pleased with the rug. Pet fur doesn't show up so obviously on this rug as it does on dark rugs. The color is slightly different than my monitor shows. It's actually a neutral beige with some variation, but it doesn't have a yellow or peachy undertone like I thought it might. The rug is about 1/4" thick. I also like it because it provides sort of an optical illusion - it makes my room seem bigger. The rectangular braiding pattern seems like it's expanding outward at you.

This is a nice rug, but the "jute" used isn't like what you see in the more expensive versions of this style... it's more like braided hairs and doesn't hold up to wear and tear very well. Next time I'll spend the extra $ and get something that is more heavy duty.

Great value for the money and it looks great. A little lighter in color in person that shown in the picture. Definitely need a rug gripper underneath to stop from sliding or slipping when you step on it. The rug is very soft and comfortable to walk on.I have had the rug a few months and it still looks great. I vacuum it with the floor attachment of my vacuum so as not to break the weave. I can see traffic patterns starting in certain areas, I've read that rotating the rug will help with this. No buyers remorse with this rug !

This rug is perfect. I shopped all over at places like Pottery Barn and World Market. Overstock was cheaper and I like this rug better than any of the others. I was a little worried the "X" shown in the picture (from the braiding pattern) would be ugly but it is barely noticable. Looks great under dining room table and is soft to walk on.

I am so happy that I bought this rug! It fits perfectly in my living room, and the cats love it too. Originally, I got it because I live in an old building and I wanted to preserve the natural wood flooring, but it also serves as a non-slippery surface for the cats to play on. It is very durable. And unlike other jute rugs it does not fray or buckle when you vacuum it. I was pleased that the color was very natural and organic compared to the peach-toned photo on the website. It has speckles of brown, which helps hide dirt and stains. As always, overstock delivered it very quickly! Thank you Overstock!

This is a great simple jute rug. It is placed in front of our sectional sofa and is not in a "high" traffic area. It took a few days for it to completely flatten out but now it is flat, and looks great. You cannot see any dirt or hair, and so far no pulls or strings coming out. This also feels great and smooth to walk on.

This is an amazing buy for $$$. Its very high quality and gives any room a much more luxurious look.

I just got this rug, so I can't speak to its durability but it's thick for a jute rug. I love the woven pattern to it and it's surprisingly soft underfoot. I can walk on it with bare feet comfortably unlike I've experienced with some other natural fiber rugs. The borders are also very well done so it looks like it will keep its shape fairly well.

This rug costs a LOT less than a similar style at Pottery Barn, but is not as thick and rich looking either. That is not necessarily a negative point, though. The best thing is that it can be flipped to the opposite side if it gets dirty. When I was desperate (dogs, need I say more?) I even took it outside and scrubbed it with soap and water, then let it dry on a very hot dry day. This helped a lot and there was no warping or tearing.

I bought four of these rugs to place in a very large bedroom (14' x 20'). They don't make rugs large enough for the space. These rugs are wonderful. They look fantastic and were pieced together to appear as one large rug. They have a wonderful texture and actually make the room appear larger than it is. I would definitely recommend these rugs. They are reasonably priced and add warmth to any room.

Very happy with this purchase and this rug would look good anywhere. Great value. I would have paid more. I have it in a florida room on stone flooring. I have only had it for a couple of weeks but it looks like it will be durable. It has a nice thickness and weight. Looks great and I'm very particular.

This rug is perfect for a high traffic area like a kitchen or foyer. The color is more tan then yellow which actually looks more natural and help hide dirt better in my opinion. I'll be getting another one to put under our dining room table at out new house.

I ordered this rug to go in my front room (wood floors, brick wood fireplace) and it looks perfect! It is very well-made, sturdy and the perfect thickness for this area. There is no fraying at all, even after regular foot traffic (and being my dog's favorite sleep/stretch spot). Very, very pleased. It's even better than I was expecting!!

I was very happy when I received the rug. I almost spent $70 more on a rug at one of the "world furniture" stores when I decided to look online first. Glad I did. This size worked better, it cost less, and looks/feels just as good. Im happy.

This rug is great looking and stylish and the price can't be beat. The color is a little darker than it appears on my computer screen, and certainly less yellow/gold. It's a wonderful medium toned, warm neutral that goes great with my oak floors and brick fireplace. The color variences are more pronounced than in the picture, but I expected that and I think it's part of the charm of a natural rug. There are a few spots in the rug that look a little unsightly where the jute appears to have been stitched over repeatedly. These were less noticeable once I put some furniture on it. Still, I wonder how these areas will hold up to wear. The rug laid flat after a quick once over with the vacuum. I wouldn't call the rug soft exactly, but it's certainly not unpleasant to walk on in bare feet. Mine was "dirty" when I received it, as other reviewers have mentioned, but I've found that the dirt and particles drop straight through as you walk on it, and after a short period of time all the loose dirt will fall out and it will no longer be a problem. I did not notice any odd or offensive odors. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. I have looked at many braided jute rugs and I am convinced that you cannot find better quality at this price point.

I loved this rug so much after buying it for my kitchen table area that I bought another for a tv room. I have two dogs who shed more than any dogs I have ever seen, and these rugs don't show light dog hair. I vacuumed them without problem. For the price, these rugs cannot be beat. They have more style than most rugs of this type and appear to be of wonderful quality. Could not be happier.
