Hand-woven Blue Wool Blinov Rug (8' x 11')

Crisp colors, great pattern, high end quality, do note that this rug is hand knotted, not like traditional area rugs, but great for our placement under our dinning table, chairs pull out easily and clean up is a dream.

I was so excited to find this rug as the colors looked really vibrant and I thought I was buying a plush cut pile rug. The product information says that the thickness of the pile is 0.625, indicating it was over a 1/2 inch thick. This is NOT a cut pile rug. This is a flat woven rug, only about 1/8 thick. Moreover the colors are completely inaccurate. The blue is more of a denim/navy blue and the "white" is between tan and cream, nowhere close to white. Severely disappointed in Overstock's description and now I'm going to have to pay return shipping. UGH. Overstock needs to make it clear whether rugs are cut pile, loop, or flatwoven in the description instead of just giving the same inaccurate thickness of 0.625 inches for every single rug.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The colors on the website are much more bright -- in person this rug is a dull almost navy blue with cream accent, not "white" and "mediterranean" blue as described.

I love this rug - the color is rich and vibrant, it flattened out easily and vacuums well. I wish I had known how thin it was, and would have planned on getting a rug pad at the same time to give it a little more cushion - I have it on a tiled floor and it doesn't do much for comfort in that regard. Overall I love it though - it changed the space just as I wanted it to and is a bold, vibrant choice to liven up a room!

I love this rug. I was looking for something to add so color and dimension to my very neural living room and this definitely did the job. It's so much brighter in there and it actually makes the room look bigger. I highly recommend it.
