Got this to go in a guest room where it would peek out from under the guest bed and give my guests some non-slippery texture and a pop of color. (I have dark hardwood floors) However, the color was just what my living room needed so I placed it there instead, between my couch and two Louis style chairs with a heavy French provincial coffee table in the middle. I like the rough texture and the bohemian look, it gives a less formal look to my overly formal living room and just brightens the space. However, it absolutely needs a rug pad under it, a good thick rubbery one so it will stay in place and have a bit of padding. It is a very thin rug, and I'll be curious to see if, at 6x9, it wrinkles up with foot traffic. If it were thicker, I'd love it more, but for the price, this is fine.
