not soft
This rug is an odd color, between blue and turquoise. Rather short in nap and not easy to walk on in bare feet. Maybe with a rug pad it would be better. Using it on wood floors in spare bedroom and not really liking anything about it. Mats down with every step and does not spring back. No shedding but almost wish it would. My husband does not notice anything but walked on it and ask what it was made of as he said it almost hurt his feet to walk over. Hard to run the sweeper on also so now I have to shake it. Bought the 4X6 and so glad I did not go bigger. Will replace it after Christmas and may use it in the laundry room or basement. Save your money. Buy anything but this. Will not buy anything again without a review, I guess someone has to be the first to buy, wish it had not been me.

The color was exactly what I was looking for. However, the description of "chenille" was not. I was looking for something that would be a little more soft. I would have returned it, but my son thought it was perfect for his room. Still really enjoy this site!
