I purchased this rug a few weeks ago and it arrived very quickly! OverStock always has very prompt shipping. I had been looking all over for a large pink rug for my office which is all pink and white. When I opened it up I was so excited because the color is an exact match to the online pics! It's not too overwhelming but it is certainly pink! I've never owned a rug with shag this long before and it does become matted in the high traffic areas. Occasionally I will have to fluff it with my hands. The shag is a mixture of think pieces and thin pieces which gives it a great look and texture. There are only 2 bad things about this rug. The first is, it comes with a strong odor of being new. It is slowly dissipating over time but it might be too much for someone to handle if you have a sensitive nose. My mom could only stay in the room for a few minutes because she was overwhelmed by the smell but it doesn't bother me much. It may help to let it air out outside before bringing it in if possible. The second is that because the shag is so long I am unable to use my vacuum on it. My vacuum does not have adjustable hight and the rug just gets caught in the bristles. It was time for a new vacuum anyway! :)

I have bought many rugs from Overstock, but this was my first shag. It was a great buy for the price. I bought it for my daughter's room and it looks lovely and is very soft. I would not recommend it for a high traffic area though. When you run your finger through it, there is some natural spacing which means the weave is not super tight. We have had it for more than a month and it isn't pilling or shedding. This is definitely more of an accent rug in a lower traffic area.

Ordered for my 4 year old daughters room. She LOVES it and finally plays on a soft surface in her room. The underside of the rug is even well made...I haven't had to buy a gripper for it yet as it is not slipping much on the hardwood floor. Definately recomend this rug!! Color is super sweet and would go for anyone who is looking for a blush-pink look.
