I am very happy with the time frame that the rug was delivered (it came sooner than promised), and the quality of the rug. I used this rug as a statement piece under a bed on a wood floor. It is everything I hoped it would be. I did use a pad but realize that with the feet on the bed it was not necessary. With that said, I like the bit of extra comfort that you get from the pad. The color and is very neutral and the jute is a more textural look than sisal. Over all it added depth and interest to the room. I did need to call in several people help to lay the rug down as the bed had to be held up while the rug got positioned. Over all this was my first online purchase that could be challenging should it need to be returned and I am thrilled with the results!
Ordered in March of 2011 and very pleased with the quality. The basketweave pattern is actually two-toned, which isn't obvious until you zoom in on the details. The rug is simple, subtle, fresh and natural. It instantly updated our room. When the occasional knot pops up, a simple tuck manages the problem. It is almost a year later and it still looks like new.

I've used this rug less than one month in a medium-traffic area and it is already unraveling in more than 20 places. I knew this would not be a long-lasting rug, but this is ridiculous.

This rug is more two-toned than it looks in the photo. The basketweave gives it a dark and light quality that makes it look more interesting than the photo shows. The darker tone is natural jute colored, while the lighter tone is more bleached looking (both are light colored, one just darker than the other). The finishing is good and the quality is good. My mom's dog peed on it soon after we got it, and I was able to simply pore water through it to wash out the stain. Seems to have held up well so far, although the hand-made quality shows as some of the fibers seem to be sticking up. I might be able to just push them in or cut them, but I will have to see how it wears long-term. I ordered several jute rugs from O for my beach house--thought I would have to return at least one, but they were all really nice and each one found a room in my home. This one is in the main room and will get the most wear. I had priced similar jute rugs in stores for more than 4 times the price and I think the quality of this compares well.
