    • pretty but sheds a lot/ lost shape

      I thought it was beautiful when we first got it...Maybe all rugs like this shed a lot...but this one seemed ridiculous. We put it over a tile floor and it lost its shape within a few months and was curling up in the corners. Eventually our dog threw up on it and we had to throw it away. I wasn't heartbroken to see it gone.

    • Great Find!

      Highly textured, love the color and look of the stripes (more subtle than pictured - more tan than green). Could not find anything close to this look anywhere else, except for the SAME rug elsewhere for a lot more $$$. Thicker than a sisal or some jutes so don't put it where you have to open a door over the top of it. Heavy and substantial, smells of damp grass when it arrives but it does go away pretty quickly (and did not cause anyone to sneeze!). The long thin fringe looked crazy wild when we unrolled it but I laid long boards across it overnight and it was under control by morning. There are a couple of places where there is a touch of pink in the weave (? I don't know why ... foreign country ...) but if it really bothered me I would touch it up with a dab of paint or sometehing. Not a big deal. If you love the look, as I did, then buy it. I got nervous before it arrived and was sure I made a mistake and would have to sell it (because of what some people said in reviews for this rug(in another size). But when we unrolled it I was so happy I ordered it. I just love it.
