Hand-woven Alpen Border Sisal Rug (9' x 13')

After reading many of the reviews on this product, especially the ones about how stains can easily be removed, I decided to purchase it. The 9 ft x 13 ft area rug is massive and will truly give you a workout placing it in a room. I opted to put it in my bedroom because I like the idea of a natural fiber rug in a place where you spend a good portion of your time. Also, I have three dogs and thought purchasing a natural fiber rug for them to lay on would be beneficial for them as well. Most of the reviews stated that removing stains was very simple. One week after my purchase one of my dogs vomited yellow bile in three places on the rug. Since 2:00 a.m. is not my best time of day, I frantically tried vinegar and water to clean up the vomit. I did my best and went back to bed. Later in the morning I tried several natural products to remove the bile stains. After many tears I've come to the realization they will not come up. If you purchase this rug, do not place it in a room where your loving pets reside. You will truly regret it.

I was a little worried about ordering the rug after reading some of the horror stories. Since I don't have 1000 dollars to spend on something I walk on, I went ahead and bought it anyway. It arrived soon thereafter and didn't have any problems. Obviously you can get a slightly better quality item from ******* or wherever if you want to pay 400% more. This went into a beach themed room and certainly did the trick. Looks great .

I am very satisfied with my purchase. The rug was just as described on the site. The price was fantastic for the size of the rug and quality. I would buy another one. It came quickly and in great condition. My only negative is the smell of the rug! Because it is a natural fiber and was so large (9x13), it has taken about 2 weeks for the smell to go away. I knew it would have an odor when I bought it though. I would do it again!

a picture does not portray the quality of a rug - seeing and feeling it however, provides an accurate picture. For the price I think I got a great Deal - I have placed an accent rug on top ..... and it looks fabulous!
