great rug for high traffic area
I ordered this for myself. My sunroom has a lot of trafffic, human and canine. I found it impossible to keep a "wool" carpet clean. I ordered this one and received it the second day. Very speedy. I put it down and had no trouble with it having wrinkles, I got the orange boarder, that really made it pop from the wooden flooring. My dogs love to rub their backs, eat their chews..and the hair and crumbs are not visible. A quick run of the vaccum and it's clean as new. One puppy even spit up on it and with a little spot remover, it came right up. I did crumple a newspaper under the wet to protect the wooden flooring. The carpet dried quickley and left no marks on the flooring or the carpet. I just put an order for another one for my computer room. Can't beat the price.

alpen bordersisal rug
I am very plesaed with the 2 red bordered sisal rugs! The color is more cranberry than Valentine's Day red which was what I wanted. One did take about a week to flatten out. My husband complained about the odor but spraying with Febreeze for a few days helped with that problem. And our 2 cats are being really good about not sharpening their claws on the new 'grass' rugs. The dining room chairs are leaving dents in the rug so the 2 will have to be switched every so often.These rugs stay looking cleaner when you vacum every other day.

A great value, looks fantastic
I ordered the green bordered rug, and was very pleased when it arrived. As I was hoping, the green is more sage than neon, as it looks in the above photo. Like a few customers mentioned, there is a burlap-like odor when you first open it, and the edges do stay cured up. I reversed rolled for a half hour and the rug laid flat...and sprayed very lightly with Febreeze and and the smell was gone in two days. If you get very close to the rug (like when I do pushups on it), you can still make out that faint grassy smell ... but that's literally when my nose is 3 inches from it. Yes, it is actually jute... but I should mention that the rug is very soft under my feet. Don't hesitate to order this. Overstock had it to me in 3 days, and it certainly beats lugging home a much more expensive option from the store.

great rug
I bought this rug for my sons room - I was very glad I had read other reviews and took the advice about getting the black border. I can see how a lighter color would get dirty with lots of traffic. Also agree that the texture is much softer than I would have thought - fine for bare knees and bare feet! I think the rug is a solid value - it arrived just as promised.

great rug
great rug--great PRICE! ordered it for a high-traffic area (under our kitchen table) and it is perfect for that. Only nitpick is, I wish I had ordered a different-colored border; the orange border got dirty-looking within one day...get a black border if this is going in a trafficky area! but otherwise, a great rug. Even feels good under bare feet...

Nice rug worth the money
great rug, did not notice any smell as others indicated but did spray with febreeze..great value only issue are the creases from being folded are not going away. I have had it laid down for 3 weeks and they are still there. Otherwise great rug

color did not match sample.
i ordered this rug to go down on light wood laminate floor in kitchen w/pale yellow walls. the sample on site is the perfect color, but once received the rug, the color is more orange.. very disappointed, ordered a different make of rug, maybe this one will be more the color i need. overstock is very quick in the delivery aspect of things. will purchase again, love this site.

Disappointed
The rug just wasn't the same quality I've come to expect from Overstock. Sisal was decent but the border puckered and wasn't stitched to fit well. Sisal never did lay flat even after several days. Returned it.
