Um... Gorge!!
The rug is amazing. Looks exactly like picture. Four important notes 1) You must use with a rug pad. Get the Durable rug pad sold on Overstock - it's the best one and made by Safaveih 2) All long-haired rugs shed. This rug is not low maintenance. It's about a look. If you have OCD don't buy it. You will need to vacuum often 3) This is not a rug for major foot traffic. A bedroom. Home office, Yes. 4) This is a great price for a 9 x 12 flokati.

Gorgeous!
Another review of this rug as light and fluffy is a good description. It is almost like a big fluffy blanket. To me it almost looks like snow, or a big fluffy cloud. Prior to purchasing the rug I was afraid that it would look like a huge piece of matted fur on the floor - but it definitely does not. I was also worried that the larger (9x12) size might just magnify this, but it doesn't. It just looks awesome. The rug is also very soft and comfortable. I think Overstock has in particular a fantastic selection of rugs, at outstanding prices. I definitely recommend this rug.

Lite n Fluffy
If you are expecting a heavy wool rug, this is not your pick. This rug is lite and fluffy like a blanket. Flokati rugs are washable, although I am not sure my machine would fit this rug. Yes, it does shed and is a lot of upkeep but, it is the perfect rug for my living room. Soft to your feet the shag is more like long fur! You can not vacuum it with a beater brush, it will be eaten up. This rug has gotten compliments since the day it arrived. I love it!

fabulous on your bare feet
I was worried that the rug wouldn't be plush enough but am very satisfied. Almost ruined it and did bust my vacuum by having the beater brush going. Now I vacuum it using hardwood floors setting and it works well. I haven't tried using a wire dog brush yet but read that works too!

Great rug
Love the rug looks great against the wood floor. The one down side is that the shag is real long not sure how to vaccum it. Great rug for the price.

Wonderful buy!
This rug is a great buy for the price! I wanted a large flokati rug for my bedroom that will add some coziness and glamour to my cold tile floors, but a flokati rug this size was on the thousands everywhere I looked. I couldn't believe my eyes when I found this rug in Overstock at this price, so I bought it right away; and I'm glad I did. It sure took the look of my bedroom to another level! Please understand that the back of this rug is not rigid like most hand-tufted wool rugs, is more like a heavy furry blanket (so much so you can folded if you needed to); but it's not thin and skimpy looking either!! I recommend using a rug pad underneath it, it will prolong the life of the rug and will add extra thickness and support when walking over it. I purchased the "Durable Hard Surface and Carpet Rug Pad (9' x 12') by Safavieh" here in Overstock as well and have no regrets. It fits perfectly under the rug (didn't need to trim it) and it adds that extra support and comfort that a rug like this will need to look and feel its best... I am very happy with my purchase!!

Sadly not what I expected.
I have owned Flokatis before and I am familiar with the fact that they come in several weights; blanket, summer, and carpet. Unfortunately, the description didn't indicate which weight this one was and it was much closer to a blanket weight than rug. The color was also disappointing, in the morning light it was yellow and not a natural wool color. I was looking for something completely different than I received and returned it.

Big Soft Rug
This is a BIG rug...12x9...so make sure you measure your space. It ships folded into about a 3-4' square, but unfolds without any of those "carpet ridges" you might have seen when unfolding other rugs. It's VERY light...we have it on a wood floor and you will want a rug pad (we cut up pieces and put around the edges.) It's so soft and fluffy. One thing to note is that it's all natural, which I like, but it SHEDS!!! Every day there are little white wisps of wool all over the place; I'll find my dogs have some hanging from their snoozes at times. You have to be diligent, but it's easy to keep up In my opinion. Good value for the price IMO.
