The rug is really beautiful. I have had so many compliments on it already. The 5 x 8 size is perfect...any larger and the print would overwhelm my living room. I have only had for 2 weeks and it does shed a lot. A quick vacuum and it looks perfect again. I have read that it eventually stops shedding after awhile. The zebra print is very trendy right now and so there are a lot of cheesy replicas that just look cheap. This is not one of those. It's a very pricey rug for a great price here on Overstock!

The rug arrived at my front door on the very next morning after I ordered it - I was surprised at the fantastic delivery time! The rug arrived rolled up, so I put it on the back deck to open and air for a few hours. I had read some reviews about fumes, but I didn't have any problems. I placed the rug under my dining table and it's absolutely gorgeousl! I receive so many compliments on it - Thanks Overstock! The exceptional quality and workmanship truly exceeded my expectations! This rug is THE buy for anyone who is looking for a zebra rug. I compared it to several major retailers who are selling a similar product. Both the look and the price are better here. Love it. great for an art deco or modern space.

I have had this a year and it still shedded constantly. It is a beautiful rug and does add a lot of pop and pazzaz but you must constantly be vacuming it. Because of the black wool fibers mixing with the white fibers it winds up with lots of ugly gray fluffs all over which take away from the beauty of the rug.

Ordered this rug for our nursery a month ago after not being able to find a rug in this design, quality or price point. As the other reviews mention, the rug does come with an order that went away after about a week or so. I simply kept windows open and left the door open to air it out a well. Quality is much better than originally expected! Very thick, plush and well made.

we bought this rug for our nursery. we don't know what we're having so we went away from the traditional green and yellow. i could not be happier with this rug! it is gorgeous in person and we get several compliments on it. the quality is also very nice, very thick. as other reviews accurately stated, there is an initial odor but it goes away rather quickly. however, in preparation for the baby we had the rug cleaned and that brought the smell back but was also short lived. i would highly recommend this rug to anyone and you can't beat the price for such a quality rug!

This rug is nice...great for the price. Only drawback is that it is MUCH brighter than what the image indicates. The ivory is more of a white, which ended up working out for me, but wasn't what I expected.

This rug is gorgeous and really added pop to my contemporary decor. Hardly no shedding which is typical of wool rugs. Very thick and reeks of quality. You will love it!

This is a wonderful rug, HOWEVER, it is not as it's shown. There is no shading, as shown in the picture - it is just balck and ivory.

This is a beautiful rug. Plush, quality, vibrant. The colors are clear - no 'off white' here. Between the stripes there is minor carving - just to emphasize, not look like one of those "my mother-in-law bought this on sale" looking rugs. It does have an odor - as other reviewers noted; similar to cat urine... what's with that? BUT a beautiful and windy day removed that. I AM SO HAPPY WITH THIS RUG. It is in my office which is painted a bright seafoam green. It is terrific.

Very happy with the look, feel, and quality of the made in India 100% wool Hand-tufted Zebra Stripe Wool Rug (5' x 8') - Item 10438791. VERY thick and, with the addition of the MADE IN THE USA Durable Hard Surface and Carpet Rug Pad (5' x 8') - Item 11990114 - Model PAD130-5 - also purchased on Overstock, feels wonderful underfoot. Of note, the white is a winter white, neither bright white nor ivory. EXTREMELY disappointed with the thin single layer packing wrapper that arrived ripped in several places. It took a few days for the carpet to lay fully flat and for the CAT URINE smell to dissipate. Our fingers are crossed that it will stop SHEDDING soon. It's been several weeks and many, many, many passes of the vacuum, but the fur balls find their way throughout the house, which is primarily hardwood floors (perhaps with the help of our Labrador puppy). We purchased this Zebra inspired rug over the others proffered here on Overstock because of the high ratings. We only gave it 4 stars because of the delivery wrapping, smell, and shedding (all of which we knew about based on previous reviews). It is a very thick, well-made rug and we would recommend it.

Somewhat this carpet is poorly made.... It gets dirty easily and too much work to maintain it.

This rug is beautiful and excellent quality. As I saw the other reviews about the shreding, I was concerned if it was going to be a problem. Mine it doesn't shred at all and it gives the living room a very contemporary look.

I really cannot stress how the majority of all the other reviews are so accurate for this product. 1) Looks fantastic...great value/style 2) Smells like Cat Urine for the first 1.5 weeks 3) Shedding was minor for us Overall: I would highly recommend it. Great Value, Great Price, Great Style

Decided to buy this to add a pop to my living area (french vintage/ turn of the century) WOW. looks great. I was afraid the carpet would look dorm-roomy- but not at all. Very chic and dramatic. That perfect touch. I get literally TONS of compliments on it. Here's the only thing: After I first unrolled it, I walked around my house for 20 minutes trying to find this mysterious cat odor. The culprit was the CARPET. It literally spells like feline urine in a bottle. no joke. It took about 5 days of febrezing to get that nastiness out. But now that it has worn off- it's a beauty. GET IT. Just also buy a huge bottle of febreze.

Would definitely recommend this rug, it is absolutely stunning in my living room. It does smell initially but with time goes away. LOVE IT!!!

A great rug. Very high quality. I put it in a high traffic area and it is holding up. Only negative is that it sheds a lot - kinda like a real zebra! Great bang for your buck. Lovely rug. Have gotten lots of compliments on it!

Worth every penny. It is super thick pile that looks quite expensive. It is true about the shedding but I've had the rug for about a month now and it has stopped. It is really soft to walk on and very durable. Love the color too. Not too white but also not exactly a beige either. I would recommend this purchase!

This is indeed a nice rug, but the previous reviewer was correct in stating that it has a weird odor. The color looked a bit more beige and less bright white on the photo to me as well. Overall, the only complaint is that it honestly smells like a bit like a cat urinated on it and then it was stored in an airless shed.
